I have been a TimeWarner customer for six years after they bout out comcast and was forced to switch to Timewarner. My service has been mediocore at best and this year alone my bill has seen an alomost 30% increase. I have called to question this and was told that the SS# they have on file for me is not the one I am providing so they are not able to help me until I !) provide correct information, or 2) visit a time warner service center to update my account with correct information". It is not information that is incorrect/. I have recenly started writing letters to Glen Britt, the company's CEo and suggest that all unhappy consumers do the same?. I am sure Mr,.Britt is not searching the internet to find complaint on the company he is running, and if he were to be I am sure that it would not be to help adjust things to the consumers advantage/. I have searched for other DSL providers and have come to find that I have zero other options;. TImeWarner is the only DSL provider in my area,. I have also learnerd that there are legislative loopholes that allow for this kind of monopoly and it is happening in many other states as well/. Who's going to protect the consumer against this kind of fraud? I am forced to pay high dollor for low grade sercie and terrible customer service. 1287961
