On Sunday I called Customer Service regarding non-functioning internet, which was (approximately) my 10th issue of the year. I was informed by a supervisor that as a result of my repeated issues, they would be sending out a technician today (Monday), there was no mention that this technician might not show up, or that it was just a "maybe". As a result of this, I took the day off of work so that I could get this issue resolved ASAP. 4PM comes around and I call Time Warner Cable to ask when the technician would be here. After spending an hour on hold between two different calls, I was informed by supervisior in charge "Ab" that there was nothing that could be done about the lying customer service, that nobody would be sent out on the day they promised, and that there would be no recourse for me, the customer who gives them thousands of dollars a year for service that is plagued with issues and customer service that flat out lies to get rid of you. As a result I have to wait several more days with non-functioning service and will need to take an additional day off, adding to the money I'm losing because of Time Warner Cable/Roadrunner's customer service.

If you have the option, go with ANY other Internet Service Provider other than Time Warner Cable/Roadrunner. I've been lied to multiple times by both customer service agents and technicians, been jerked around on service appointments, and I have seen no recourse other than offers of 6 months of a free TV channel or a couple dollars off my next bill to cover for the outage, while totally ignoring the inconviences caused by their incompetence. 1287bcc

I agree. I called for new service at the beginning of the month. Without getting into all the drama, it is almost December and still NO SERVICE. I have had 6 appointments that were fouled up on their end. They promised to be out today, and I just got a call postponing it until December. That's a full month of no service. If I wasn't getting ready to work from home and required to use them, I wouldn't.
