Time Warner Cable - the WORST company!

I have so many things to say about time warner cable san diego I'm not even sure where to begin...but i'll try. Firstly, the sales person was extremely deceptive and signed me up for packages I didn't even want. I told her I barely watch TV so i just need the basic channels. She asked me if i enjoyed watching movies. Yea, of course. Who doesn't? Later I see my bill has Showtime and many other costs added to my TV package. As for my internet, I had been paying for the fastest internet package (intentionally), but realized a year later that my internet was slow because they had provided me with a faulty and old modem which couldn't handle the high speeds I was paying for!!! Who does that?!?! I called to complain MANY MANY times! No one wanted to help before I yelled back at them... and i'm considered very docile if that matters. They would not return my money but we finally settled on showtime for the next year to help compensate my losses. Ok, that's better than nothing. Oh no...more problems started occurring. Internet would go down during a research paper, for random nights on end. The tv cable box would shut itself off. Did they care? Of course not! It took me 3 hours one time to finally fix the problem...which I figure it pbb fixed itself. I was on hold for half of that since they kept transferring me back and forth. I've been lied to when I asked to speak to supervisors. "He's not here, but he'll call you back". After a week, nothing! I hate time warner cable sooo much. As if we don't have enough stresses in our life, they must add an exponential amount more of stress. Lastly, when i completely downgraded my tv to the "Local Basic Cable" the lady told me it would be channels 2 through 44, except channel 4. That's fine. I'll be $12.99 for that and agreed to it. When I turned on my TV the next day, it had already been disconnected and I was only getting channels 2-18. Many channels were not working. UGHH. I want to destroy something.... TIME WARNER NEEDS TO CHANGE! For the sake of my humanity!

Time Warner Cable in Columbus, Ohio - Sold me phone service and area not servicable

Since january I have contacted time warner 3x in regards to their bundle package. I have been sold this service all 3x. I sat and waited for 5 hr. window blocks to be told sorry this service is not in your area. Last time I sat for 5 hours. Time Warner didn't even show up. I received a phone call letting me know, my area is not serviceable. they did not stop the work order to import my telephone number. I was without home phone service for a month. they felt one month bill refund on my cable ($57.00) was sufficient. not really I missed work and college class. I LOATHE this company!!

Time Warner Cable deceptive sales practices

I just had a really infuriating online chat with a Time Warner salesperson, who just lost a sale. Her (undoubtedly fake) name was Jessica, and I'm sure from her spelling that she's offshore. I wanted to get one simple piece of information, which was the regular price of their triple play service once the promotional price is over. I asked many, many times - first I got a series of canned non-answers, then I was instructed to call customer service AFTER I PLACED MY ORDER to find out how much what I just ordered actually cost! When I pointed out that it didn't make sense to order something without knowing what it cost, and told her this was a terrible web experience, she basically ignored me, gave more canned responses, and hung up. I never did get an answer to my question.

Time Warner Cable in San Antonio, Texas - Time Warner could care a less about customer service

This is the second time in the 2 months that I have had Time Warner that my HD cable has gone out. I have had numerous problems with Time Warner in the past but have few other choices in this area or in other areas that I have lived. Time Warner knows that you have no other real choices and could not care how you feel about their service. They expect your life to revolve around them. Their service is horrible. It is no wounder that they were rated one of the nation's most hated companies along with Exxon.

Time Warner Cable in Lima, Ohio - Pay for high speed and get ***

i tell you what i payed for turbo road runner and got reg road runner for a yr till they fixed it and it was there problem not mine. it was on there server not my pc i hate them but have no choice . i hate calling them they take forever. every day i called once and this is how it went. i get home call set the phone down once i was on hold get a shower and eat something and pick up the phone still on hold for a 1/2 hr god i want them to die

Time Warner Cable/Road Runner

I have Road Runner high-speed internet through Time Warner Cable NY. So I'm not sure who my complaint should be with. All I know is that it's Time Warner that bills me each month. I had problems with receiving emails, and Time Warter directed me to call Road Runner. And then who do I get at Road Runner? Why a person in India, who made every question twice as long as it needed to be, every statement twice as long as it needed to be, and prefaced everything with "ma'am". And of course there was the usual "how are you doing today ma'am? ....I'm glad to hear it..." I was on the phone over one hour! One hour! Yes, the problem finally got resolved, but I know that if I had been given the option to speak with a local IT person, it probably would have taken maybe 15 minutes. These companies that send their IT offshore are the *** of the earth. It's all about their guys at the top making more money, and at the expense of their customers that they purport to care so much about.

Time Warner Cable in Saint Louis, Missouri - Time Warner Internet Service

I can truly relate to the previous complaints on Time Warner customer service! Last Wednesday, 4/16 I called because my internet stopped working. They ran diagnostics and found that I had to have a service appointment. Of course, the earliest possible date is Monday, 4/21/08. Someone called me Saturday to confirm that I was still having the internet problem - I said Yes! On 4/21/08 my service appt. is between 1pm - 5pm. I called around 2pm to see when they might be coming. I was then informed that my appointment was Cancelled by the Technican who reported that issue was an outage problem and it has been fixed. However, no one bothered to call and ask. They put me back on the service appt. list for 4/21/08 by now it is 4pm so i have to wait now until 8pm. The technican comes an hour after I get off the phone. He comes and informs me the issue is with my neighborhood - no internet lines working and maintenance have to come fix the lines. Great! I call back later on that evening to see if that was done yet or when it would be done. Customer service has No Idea about what the technician told me. He said he would take all information down and schedulee a maintenance call first thing today. Now it is 4/22/08 Time Warner rep calls me this morning to schedule confirm a service appointment. So then I had to explain to him that it should be a maintenance call not service call. He was suppose to call me back when completed. It is still not done. if this is Not resolved by tomorrow I will be canceling my services. The lack of communication between technican center and call center horrible. I am telling one center what the other told me. It's like being the go between for two arguing kids.
