Nickel and Dime Customers to Death - DITTO

I had service for a year under the 49.99 internet only. It was okay, and I needed it as I worked from home. When my bill went up to 69.99 I called to ask if there was any way they would consider lowering that as I am now retired on a (very) limited income and using my internet (very) rarely. The girl on the line answered me very rudely and even laughed. I get it but I am using very little internet per day. I'm not downloading large packets of info, or videos or music. Just basically checking my email. It didn't warrnat that kind of a response. Today looking over my last 6 months of bills I find constant 2 -3 dollar charges so that my $69.99 bill always ends up as $ 73 - $ 75. As the saying goes, must they squeeze you to get that last tiny drop of blood? There are no breaks, when the brother finally took over the business, he mercilessly got rid of any breaks for anyone. I wish they would start regulating it like they did Ma Bell back in the olde days and break it apart, there is no room for the little guys and those big internet provides know they can squeeze you as hard as they want. You are at their mercy whlie they nickel and dime you to death.

Three different representative all providing me with different information. First representative provided me with inaccurate billing information and added services I did not ask for. Second representative transferred my call without notice or warning as to who I was being transferred to. Last representative was completely incompetent as she was unable to answer any of my questions, was not listening to what I was asking of her and giving me information not applicable to what I needed/wanted. When asked to be transferred to a supervisor she was surprised and asked why. She didn't like my response and it took a total of 5 minutes of back and forth just to be transferred to a supervisor. I despise TWC/Spectrum.

All week internet has been acting up. Last night it went off at 10:30 came back around 11 and at 1:45 am it had still not come back. Today its been again failing. I called and requested return call When finally the calls would come in 4 times I was hung on when the call would go through. Customer for 15 yrs. Will leave soon.

I wanted to make you aware of another issue with spectrum. My Internet has been down for 3 days. Spectrum has scheduled 3 appointments for a technician to come fix the issue. And all 3 times nobody has showed up. I have complained to the BBB. we have to get something done about spectrum.

Another bill indicating past due, owing $280 for so much terrible customer service and other discrepancies with Oceanic and now, Spectrum saying after we had shut down our cable service even temporarily, after a fire had serious effect and restoration taking over one year, we weren't part of this grandfather thing where we would be able to keep our same service as Spectrum took over. My Mom has that plan. Was it my fault that the fire had me shut down electric, water, and all connections as any homeowner would do? If they cannot understand all of this, then good bye Spectrum within another month after I get some advice.

I called a few days in advance because my bill was due. They told me I could extend with no problems. And today my cable was turned off. So again I called. And this time the rep told me I would have to speak to her supervisor so they can resolve this issue. So the supervisor came on the phone with this attitude that was unreal. Telling me that there’s no way they can reverse the cable being off and she sees no notation that I spoke to anyone (but yet the customer svc rep saw it before she got on the line) she’s a liar and she needs more customer svc training.

OR you need to just pay your bill on time. It's that simple.

Once it's off it's off. The only reason you should have been calling was with a payment. Typically if you're being shut down, it's not because your bill is due, it's PAST DUE. Whoever you talked to probably didn't put the extension in or they just told you anything to get your buns off the phone as people like you are nasty to talk to when they want to breach an agreement they agreed to.

Anywho, don't like your cable shut off, pay your note on time all the time. OK let me hear it, "you must work for (insert company)."

We have Time Warner in one home and Comcast in another. There is no comparison, Comcast is much better. Time Warner’s service is terrible as is their lineup. The cost is rediculous. I called them today and then they called back with a survey. When my answer to the first question was a grade of one (the lowest possible) they asked if I wanted to change the answer. When I said no they said there was a technical problem and hung up. We will end our longtime relationship with TW and move to another supplier.

Cables all over my rental properties

All my properties have wires running from the outside into the inside of the house I have holes throughout my house from cables instead of them using the same cable for service in the apartment I have a whole bunch of different cables running in with different holes into the house.

I'm not a technical person so I have to wait for my son to come home from college on break to call them. This happens all the time. What am I paying for? Sometimes my son tells me it's only giving less than 1 mbps. Also, their customer service is horrible. I called them today about a billing question, they told me they need my account number to even answer a question (no financial information or changes to service, just a simple question), so I call back with account number, they tell me I also need a pin number. Seriously? I would switch internet in a heartbeat if the only other option in my small town wasn't equally bad. As soon as my kids are both done with college, I am cancelling all internet.

same with my connection , paying 65$ per 100G it has never went above 12G , When I was paying 80$ for 200G was getting 100G periodically, but then downgraded to 100G and now getting latency in connections and lousy download speed , would love to move to different provider , but TW had monopolized my area

on 3/7/18 I had frontier. Spectrum salesman came to door and offered a big savings. $133.00 per mo. for 3 bundle.(tv, internet,phone) Frontier called and offered me a better offer, and I prefered their menu, and services. TOTAL canceled spectrum . had frontier reconnected. by 3/28/18. have received a bill from spectrum of $193.00 for that short period, AND A BILL FOR THIS MO.!!??? TOTAL ?376.95 . THIS IS DESPITE THE FACT THAT I CALLED BILLING WHEN I CANCELLED THEIR SERVICE.AND WAS ASSURED I WOULD NO BE BILLED FOR FULL MO. I AM HANDICAPPED, HOUSE BOUND. TOLD THEM THEIR EQUIPMENT WAS HERE AND READY TO BE PICKED UP. THEY SAID THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO UNTIL APRIL 12TH. LIVING ON SMALL SS. THIS IS SUCH ABUSE I CANNOT DEAL WITH. WHERE ARE THE AUTHORITIES TO STOP THIS ABUSE AND FRAUD?

They are known for this and President Trump needs to know We all need to complain to him because they know we have no alternatives I went to leave them called ATT and other cable companies and they said oh no we aren’t able to service there The employee was dumb enough back then before Trump to tell me they have agreements with other companies not to service there so customers can’t go back and forth when unhappy so they secretly assign territories which is illegal monopoly

expensive, unreliable service. and scam billing practices (changes without warning). I called the customer service rep months earlier and they said the price would not change, well it did change. There is a major disconnect between the customer representatives and the billing practices. Spectrum CS cannot see NYC accounts and does not know how to handle them. Their website has fake prices as well that is not really offered. After calling them, they did not know what was on their website and claimed their website prices are not true even if I clicked existing customers and upgrade service with my account number to view the plans. I would not recommend this scam monopoly to anyone.
