88 yo Dad does not have a wirking modem to recieve inbound calls. Twc cancelled the appt to fix the problem because...they could not call to reach hm to confirm appt time due to no wirking phone line. Just pathetic. Was told by 2 leads a tech will be avail to fix the problem. Cable and phone went out the same day it was installed 9/15/16 and still not repaired. Will see what story they come up with tomorrow.

I have had problems with twc since day one. It's been three weeks since they took my money and still no cable.. Every time i talk to them they tell me another lie.. At our home we only have the Time Warner Internet. Noticed our bill slowly increasing over time from $60.00 to $80.00 this past bill cycle. AVOID TWC IF YOU WANT TO USE YOUR OWN MODEM. THE ONLY WAY TO UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE IS TO CONTACT THE ISP, AS THERE IS NO FLASH FILE AVAILABLE FROM NETGEAR. BOTH NETGEAR AND TIME WARNER CABLE WEBSITES SAY THIS MODEM IS FULLY SUPPORTED.
