i was just informed that I missed the first payment and that I'm no longer a "customer in good standings." I'm currently set up for automatic payment, and I've called for other reasons and had informed that there will be information sent regarding what to do next for the visa card ...only nothing was ever sent! The person was polite, and even said that she can escalate to the rewards team, but it will get denied. I'm very pissed ... and am looking to cancel their service. I now hate them!

Time Warner Cable - Voicemail ***

Travelling for two weeks and have tried unsuccessfully to retrieve my TWC voicemail. Account now locked due to too many unsuccessful attempts. Simple call to Tech Support to reset the pin, right ? Well, that was six hours, 5 chat sessions, 1 voice call and being escalated to " Tier 3" ago ... Result = nothing ! They either tell me its fixed, which it isnt, or that It can only be reset if I am home .... Huhh? When I told the nice ( clueless) lady that she can call me back when its fixed, she said " im unable to make outgoing calls"? Huhhhhhhh? Arent you an f......ing phone company ? TWC = The Worst Company ...every interaction with them is a trip into an Alternate Universe Cancel your subsubscription....

Time Warner is a joke. We were 2 days late on our bill and they had someone come and turn the cable off outside our building at 7pm at night, for the first time ever, then charged us $30 to have it turned on for the following day at 4pm. Then at 5pm that day we receive a call saying they can't have any one come turn it back on for an additional 6 days. We are cancelling our account and going to direct tv. Worst cable company I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Would recommend that all their customers switch over before they get screwed too.

I experienced the same thing. I was told I would receive a $300 gift card if I kept my Time Warner account for at least 6 months. I never received the card and was told to wait and should receive it within 90 days. I called several times in the meantime. They kept telling me to wait until the 90 days. I called back at that time and they told me it was too late to trace. I always felt that one of their employees was stealing the cards. Hey, should we start a class action suit against them since it appears that many consumers were dupped???

I moved to my home in February 2015. The previous owner had DISH, but we went with Time Warner for cable, internet and phone. In the front yard there were several PVC pipes sticking out along with several orange cables that one of the techs installing told me was theirs. I began calling to get the pipes and wires buried. They are in the way when mowing and are an extreme eyesore. I called numerous times and was always told they would get it done. They never did. When I called back they would tell me that there records showed it had been completed. I finally started keeping detailed notes of my calls. I called in late July and was told someone would be there on 8/5. No one showed. I called on 8/13 and was told that they don't set an exact date, but that the order was placed in the "Que", and they have 14 days to complete once ordered. We were past that. I was told they would put a rush on it and the representative told me she would call me a couple of days later to see if it had been completed. She never called. I called on 10/15. The representative told me the last entry on my account was 8/5 and showed it had been taken care of. She said she would have the supervisor look into it. She told me I would be placed on the "immediate" list and that it should be completed that week. She told me she would call me back once she heard back from the supervisor. She never called. Around 10/19 some technicians came by and advised my son that our cable and internet lines were not long enough and they were connecting longer lines. They did "tidy" up a couple of the lines sticking out of the pipe out front by putting zip ties around them, but did not bury them. On called again on 11/23. The representative told me that the bury order showed it had been completed on 10/19. I took the attached photo which clearly shows it has not been completed. I was told another order would be placed and someone should call me in a day or so. I'm not holding my breath. I am, however, seriously considering going to DISH.

Time Warner Cable - TWC has NO CUstomer Service

I have been a TWC customer for many many years and have “ALWAYS” paid my bills on time or early. Last month, I apparently had a typo when entering my bank information into the on line payment system. The payment said it was accepted but it wasn’t and one day my Time Warner Cable internet and cable services were turned off with advanced notice. I contacted TWC and I was told I never made a payment and that’s why my services were disconnected. I explained I did make a payment and it was accepted by their system. I also asked; If there was a payment problem why wasn’t I informed? They then stated they sent me an email to an email address that hasn’t been active in over 10 years. I spoke with several reps when I called TWC and no one could give me a definitive answer. After spending a couple hours on the phone with several reps I finally asked to speak to a billing supervisor. The supervisor’s name was Rebecca and I explained that because of my error in putting in billing information my bank account was blocked from making payments. Rebecca opened a ticket (#22349483) for me and was supposed to get back to me with a follow up call which never happened. Like I said before this was the very “FIRST” time I have ever had an issue making a payment and no I have been put in TWC prison. They won’t allow me to make electronica payment through my bank account and told me I know have to make payment in person. The also never took any responsibility on their part for their communication error. Since TWC has no competition in the area where I live I am forced to succumb to the TWC dictatorship.

I have missing channels every night especially when it is hot out, I unplug the power like instructed, then they redown load it still channels missing (stuck on S0600 forever) never changes. I was told by one of there service techs in the neighborhood that I need a booster but they won't give me one. These people are the biggest liars, cheats, and thieves on the planet. They will flat lie to you and tell you there is no problem when everybody including there technicians know there is. I switching to AT&T and cannot wait until this company loses enough customers to finally go out of business. Good ridance to horrible company / service provide.

I signed a contract with TWC in July 22 had to pay for a month of service of front. My service was not installed until Mid August. The next day I was calling tech support because the service was not working. It's now October and they have yet to resolve the issue. I've had about 6 techs 3 of which have been here approx 3+ times each. What the techs do is ask for you to call them dirrectly so they can come back however this causes in issue when u call and ask for credit on your account because you have non working services. They deny the credit because they expect customers to call daily. As for the reward cards they claim to mail them out and customers never recieve them. All technicians give you a different story yet for non working service but never fully resolve the issues. Customer service is horrible. I asked to have the headquarters number to try and see if they can solve my issues and they claim the best the can do is escalate to problem to a supervisor whom never does anything to resolve the issue. I had enough and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They are trying to fund a resolution to the problem. The more the people file complains the better it is to find a civil resolution.

Time Warner Cable - Tricked me into providing my ex husbands social security number

I am mad at Time Warner Cable because I had my own apartment. I made it perfectly clear on the phone that I was no longer with my husband. The customer service rep told me that I HAD TO GIVE HER MY HUSBAND'S SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. I told her I did not think that was right because he does not even live in the apartment with me. She actually said I HAD to give it to her. Then I told her to only use my social security number for MY ACCOUNT. Well, she used his social security number to set up the account and I am still angry about it to this day. He is angry about it too. I wish they could pull up the phone call that was recorded from 2008 in February and it would prove this 100 percent.

You had no reason to give his number if he didnt authorize it. you claim the agent MADE YOU do it you should learn some self accountability.

Twc CAN and Will listen to a call to verify if their agent did something wrong. So either it was not twc agent or you used his number.

I told her very plainly to set up the account under my social security number not his. She said if I provided his number to her that she would not use it. She told me the time warner account would be under my social security number, not his. That is the point I am trying to make here.

To this day I still do not understand why she put my account under his social security number unless there was a fee or something. If that was the case, she could have told me. If I set up the account under your name there will be a fee of ___ amount ma'am so I will have to set up the account under your husband's social. Then I could have told her I would prefer to pay the fee than to use his number.

I worked in customer service for another company which sets up television accounts before I would never do what she did. If a recently separated wife wanted to set up her own account, I would just set it up as a single account without her husband's name on it. Even if the customer showed up as having bad credit or something, I would just say the truth to them. I am showing you have a fee of $200 before you can set up your account.

You can either pay the fee or have a close family member set up the account for you in their name for you if they have a stronger credit score. If you decide to go this route, I will need to speak to that person and get their permission to set up the account under their social security number because that is our company policy. At least that way you are honest and straight forward with the customer.

I think she was so worried about the getting the sale and making a commission that she did it in a shady manner. That is what I don't think is right here.

TWC has the rudest customer service practices ever!! They cannot resolve any issues. They talk over you and protect their own. They conveniently take your payment and they say oops, you still owe money so we are going to disconnect your services. Very rude. They have messed with the right person today. I will make sure that everyone hear my complaints, I am reporting the Manager Milana, and the billing person I spoke with Vander. She covered for him and vouched for everything he said. He never disclosed any information with me and said everything was ok and never read to me what the screen said in regards to my account and then the manager just tried to cover for him and made me feel small and incapable of handling my business. POOR, POOR, POOR customer service. Things happen in life and I hate when people try to belittle you and make you feel less of a person because you missed a payment. Be mindful that one day you too will be in need and the tables will be turned, and I hope that you get the worst customer service known to man. I hope they make you feel less of a person as you made me feel this morning. Thank TWC for nothing. Again, YOU have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will not be using your services nor will I recommend anyone to you. Everyone was right when they said you guys have horrible service. They tell you one price of $89 and then you get your first month bill from $274 for two weeks of service. WTH!! Again TWC is the WORST!!!!

Time Warner Cable - Ran my credit card twice

Time warner cable ran my credit card twice which resulted in two payments taken from my account on $114.53. First I called several times and they kept telling me I was incorrect they only ran it once. I went and got the information from my credit card statement, still they insisted that I was incorrect, I was provided with an issue # and they would check into it. Some 48 hours later they still have not credited my account. I spoke with a supervisor last night my the name of Courtney for the Akron area. she stated that my money would be returned today 9-15-15 still no money. I called back today and spoke with an Akron rep named Scott he assured my money would be on my card by 3:00 it is now 3:35 still no money. Time warner is so quick to turn you off but very slow to give money back when they made the error. smh. What if that is all the money I had to feed my children and get gas for the week and they are playing games. I'm attempted to call Carl Monday and put them on blast about this.

Time Warner Cable - $300 rebate?

We signed up for TWC two months ago and were told how to process for the rebate. We didn't receive the first bill; the second include an overdue invoice. When I phoned, TWC said fine, we'll send you the code to log in for the rebate. Many weeks and phone calls later (no code received), I was given a ticket number and assured that all would be fine. Today TWC said that we were ineligible since we didn't pay the first invoice on time. I wonder how many others have had this problem and if the $300 rebate is a scam.
