I received in the mail a $10.00 package deal so I thought great I will give it a try since I had an antenna only tv service. Already have internet and phone with TWC. Ok called and was told it would be around $22.00 if I want Showtime free for 1 yr, long store short received box in mail tried to hook it up like they told me and they said someone would come and turn it on at box ,and they would call and tell us when it was on LOL well we tried no result. So I called they sent tech to us next day, lol again. He didn't know what he was doing and then left the face plate off where cable goes and left. Now every 2 to3 days we have to uunplug it and reboot . And the channels are a joke , I got more shows on antenna . I am returning it and going back to antenna . So warning don'tdo the $10 package.

If your TWC-supplied Internet, Cable TV, and telephone is "out," calling TWC to find out why it is out is a waste of time--their computer will tell you the Customer Service people don't know any more than "There is an outage in your area and the engineers are working on it." An estimate of when it will be back on can be very important to their customers. Some, me for one, use it to augment my Social Security. Some people use it to contact their healthcare providers. Many burglar alarms depend upon the Internet to stay in touch with a monitoring service. Clearly, TWC either doesn't understand what customer service means or chooses to go their own way and ignore the people who pay them. When I had my own service business, all our business cards read, "Please call us before you worry; worrying is our job."

I have been having problems with this service for several months both TV and cable. We have been loyal customers of TWC for 20+ years and have always fulfilled our contractual obligations by paying for our service in a timely manner. However, TWC has failed in upholding its obligations to provide the services paid for in that there have been numerous service failures and it has become impossible to deal with them in both a timely and professional manner. The latest issue originated on 12-18-15 with the cable service and the quality of the signal being received. On 12-19-15 the entire cable system was down in our home. We called to report the problem and it was unable to be resolved by phone. The TWC representative then informs us that we must wait days before a service call can be scheduled. It would be at least four days before the issue could be resolved. When we questioned this the lies began to flow. First, we were told that this would be a back-up appointment and that they would schedule something sooner when they could. But when I talked to a supervisor I was told that this was not a back up appointment but the actual scheduled appointment. When I questioned the supervisor about the poor and substandard services being provided and their inability to meet customer needs the phone call was suddenly dropped. So I called back spoke to another representative explained that we had been cut off. At least that is my hope, I wouldn't think that a TWC supervisor would hang up on someone. I was told the supervisor was trying to call me back and was getting a busy signal. I informed the rep. I would hang up so I could take the call. I hung-up and I am still waiting on that supervisor to call back. After waiting a reasonable amount of time I called back and was transferred to a Region Manager. This individual was both professional and polite but was unable to co-ordinate a timely service call during our conversation. I expressed my concerns of TWC customer service practices. I suggested that either they are under staffed to handle the volume of calls they received which is a concern, or they have sub-standard equipment with a huge volume of failures another concern or a combination of the two. Whatever the issue none of these issues are favorable to the consumer. Now I am expected to go days without the service that I paid for. I was left with the impression that TWC only does things that are convenient for TWC and totally disregards the concerns, inconveniences, and issues caused by their own failures concerning their customers. Here lately it seems TWC is doing all they can not to services their accounts. You call they troubleshoot over the phone and if it can't be resolved they will have someone else call you. If they can't resolve it an appointment is set and in the interim they blow up your phone with calls trying to get out of making the service call. When the tech. arrives if it is not an inside issue another tech has to scheduled for outside work and they delays continue. What has happened to old fashioned customer service?

My sick, elderly mom is on the Do Not Call list. They Robo call constantly to hound her with "an important message" that usually turns out to be a Sales pitch. They have been told to stop. They have been reported. The calls keep coming. Where is the FCC? Why is this unenforceable? Enough!!

Time Warner Cable - End of promotion period this Sept. 2015

Last year (2014) at the end of our promotion period the person at TWC wanted to keep our business and gave us Encore and reduced our monthly payment by $3.00 (bundled service of TV, Phone and internet). This year the Customer Solutions rep. increased our bundled bill by $20.00 and even after I told him I couldn't afford that as we are on fixed SS income he didn't care. I told him that we had no other choice than to leave TWC. He acted like he wanted us to pay or leave period. I find it so interesting that TWC would rather offer great deals to new customers (most are those that left a year or so ago) than retain their existing customers. This indicates to me that TWC wants customer loyalty, but does not reciprocate!  We moved to Dish and Centurylink (phone and internet) and saved $20 per month over the old TWC bill before the increase.  The Centurylink payment is locked for 5 years and Dish is locked for 2.  In addition, the TWC rep tried to tell me that I would loose about 2 meg of bandwidth if I switched to CentruryLink hig speed internet.  The fact is you loose .5 meg in bandwidth. Time Warner Cable - I was promised a rebate but reps sent me into endless loops

Just received the absolute worst customer experience ever via TWC. A month ago, I was uncertain to sign up with TWC but the sale rep from TWC itself told me that after I signed up, I can get the $300 rebate for making the switch. Seem like a steal right? WRONG. So I looked up the rebate website and it said I should receive a code to register within 2 weeks of installation. 2 weeks passed, I contacted them again. This time, the rep told me to wait it out for another 2 weeks because you should receive it within 30 days. I asked her again if I'm actually legible and she looked up my account and plan and said Yes. Cool! Today I contacted them back because it's almost a month since I have TWC. This time I went through this unhelpful guy that said there is no rebate available for my account. He then transferred me to the "right" department. This time a lady comes up and asked me "Did you register?" I was like "No, because I never received the code". She then asked me to fill the information for "I forgot my redemption code", which got to no where because I never received the code. She then take a while to respond and asked something like "Did you click in the I don't have the code?" and NOWHERE on that website has that link. I then asked her what exactly is it. She told me it's the "I forgot my code" one. WTF? I asked to speak to the manager because I was upset that I was promised something and they did not deliver. She said "He can't be reached at the moment". Bull ***! The reason I switched to TWC because of the stellar deal with the rebate card, which I will use to buy my own modem and router. Now I contact them and they just send me into loops. I just want them to give me the code to register for the rebate, which they had promised. She told me I must be a customer for 90 days and keep the service. I understand that part but on the freaking site, they said I should register for the card within 30 days of installation using the code that will be sent within 15 days of installation. I don't know, I'm frustrated. I want to go back to AT&T but the price is higher, the internet dropped at least one a day and the speed is slower in my area. But that's not the point. I'll call customer service tomorrow and ask to speak with the manager. ALL I *** WANT IS THE REBATE I WAS PROMISED

I was on a package which I didn't think I was. I am 78 years old and my cable bill went from $105 to 138. I find it very frustrating when you talk to a person that they say you are "stuck" for another year. I think that I should be able to choose what I want. Today, cable and phone have been out. Phone came on but cable has been down since 12:00 and it is now 4:00 and still nothing. How *** do you think people are. I want an explanation and try to get some kind of a service that is not going to keep going up. I think that I should get compensated for the outage today. You want to be #1 then give better service. I was lied to three separate occasions within the span of one week. I saw my promo ended and the increase in bill was over 30.00 more than previous. I called to work out a downgrade package or drop their service and spend almost an hour waiting for representatives to find a solution or "deal". A girl named Briana, ID: 244172 quoted me 97.00 TOTAL for a three way package telling me I needed to buy a home phone to install. I asked for reassurance and she provided it. Two days following the conversation I'm waiting for my scheduled installation appointment with my newly purchased home phone and I get a call telling me they didn't need to come install it. I happened to ask the bill pricing again and it was raised to 124? I asked how this could be and a third party decided the quote was wrong and changed my bill and they didn't even notify me! Then, after talking with a representative named Jeff I was not provided any quote closer to the 97 and told 124 was the only way. I tried to end my service and he convincingly told me that consumer retention could help. After being transferred I discussed the whole story all over again with a rep named Athina, ID: 2561050 who promised that the promotion she found me would STAY at 106.72 before tax (112.00 total). I asked if a third party would change it again and she told me no. Well, do I need to tell you what happened one day later? I get online to check and the statement is now at 120 total. Im currently waiting to chat with a rep online that says 5 min wait, yet 30 minutes have lapsed. Worse. Service. Ever.

Yes same situation here. It's been about 4+ months now and nothing, I checked the status and it's says processed but not shipped yet. I called and they said it will be mailed out soon..What the heck..Our friends had the same issue and he called and he got very upset with them and he told me it was a major headache it has been 6 months for him. He finally got it but not after several attempts and calls to the manager, They only want to give these out when harassed they know many of us will just give up on it and they win..DON'T LET THEM WIN, CALL AND CALL. I have called every day since. With Verizon we had our 500 gift card within 2 months after service. Should of stayed and just paid more for better service anyway. Time Warner sucks. Thank goodness we dont' have contracts :))))

I've had TWC for 3 months and have called them at least 25 times. Just about every time they put you on hold, they hang up. Then of course YOU have to call them back. For every problem I've had, I ended up talking to 2-3 different people. The 2nd person would say the 1st person didn't do anything right. The 3rd person would say the 1st and 2nd persons didn't know what they were doing. I am sick and tired of having to go to the office every time there is a problem, it's not exactly right around the corner. They are the worst company ever. I log every call with name (which is made up), date and time. That way they can pull up all calls because they record them! If everyone sent their complaints to the right person maybe the company can be saved. I cannot believe Corporate is okay with this!!??

Seriously over billed for the last 9 months.... Promised me 89.99 bundle, and my bill is $200.00 every month.... Called today to cancel service, was told I cannot because I have an outstanding bill (because they nearly double billed me again), and they found the error WAY back in December. And now they refuse to refund me for the past nine months of billing. Tried to give me 115.00 credit (LAME THIEVES), and instead of cancelling like I wanted too, they GAVE ME STARZ on my account~! What????? I DONT WANT STARZ, I WANT MY MONEY BACK~!!!! They told me I didn't HARASS them enough to get my billing straight (THEIR ERROR) even though they have a record the last 4 times I called.... They have received approximately OVER $2,000.00 from me in the last 10 months~! HOW DO THESE PEOPLE SLEEP AT NIGHT??????? THEY HAVE AN OBLIGATION to fullful what they promised me~ I didn't get what I was promised. They agreed by cashing my first check in NOVEMBER that my bill would be the same every month. How does $118 change to $200 the very next month and continued until now??????????? I read the online complaints. Class action suit is calling my name~ How would they like to have to GIVE BACK ALL THE OTHER MONEY THEY HAVE ROBBED FROM OTHER CONSUMERS???????? Again I say, HOW DO THEY SLEEP at night????????? I tried cancelling my service a couple of months ago also. They told me I COULDNT in the middle of the month??? WHAT? They said they would FIX the errors. Again, no such luck. Today is the FINAL straw. All I wanted was to cancel everything but internet (I have netflix). They wouldn't do it. Wanted to still bill me the 200 each month, and then tried to bride me with a 300 gift card, that would go straight towards the new 200 bill they just emailed me. After arguing for nearly 2 hours. I get on my television, and they added another movie service to my account, WITHOUT my agreement, and then submitted me ANOTHER bill via email for 200.00. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE??? I want my money back~! I am taking them to court. THIS IS NOT WHAT I SIGNED UP FOR~!

Fios is not available in my home yet so I was forced to get TWC and talked into a bundle. My hours changed at work and I hardly watch TV and don't use phone svc at all so I wanted to downgrade (I don't have a contract) was told that by removing services it will increase my bill bc I a have a new customer pkg and they couldn't do anything to decrease my bill which I need desperately. Retention dept is WORTHLESS! They gave me $6.25 off of my $142 bill plus gave me 200mbps which I don't need bc I don't use my computer. I don't have movie channels and all I want is 25/50 Mbps and standard TV pack and I can't even get that or I will pay more money. As soon as fios is available im switching immediately

Time Warner Cable - $300 gift card scam

Time Warner Cable scammed us too. They refuse to send us the gift card saying we misunderstood the offer. Obviously I see they scammed a great many people the same way they did us. Can anyone help us? We have been with them for too many years to count and when we were shopping for a complete package, internet, phone as well as our present cable , they told us we would get the $300 gift card My husband went to the Brea office in person and was told we needed to be new customers I knew this was a lie so I logged on and saw they have done this to a huge amount of customers.

hi! i moving on may 31 and request my moving service but now i receive my new bill from my new address billing from may 12 but I am already pay my bill from the old address include June 16. 10 minutes ago i spoke by the phone with your representatives, her name was Gloria V8y and it was horrible experience, she told me that modem was activated on my new address and i already charge for the services from 12 of May, but I am still live on my old address and it's impossible, everything that you send me in the box.than she transfer me to Derek(supervisor) and he was unprofessional too.nobody can help me, they charge me twice for the same period of time!Beware because when you want to transfer your services TWC start charge you same day when you call them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
