They sent a response stating they tried to contact me in regards to the billing issues...that is untrue! What they did was send a guy out to collect their equipment...I would not RECOMMENDED them to anyone they are crooked and under handed in the way they handle business....so NO they did not resolve my issue but I decided to move forward to do business with someone else

Made payment arrangements with Time Warner Cable company and they disconnected my cable and internet with the AGREED arrangements!!!! I have called several times trying to speak with someone in management only to get the run around. Being told I need to go into a office (locally) I work 7am to 7 pm and have told numerous ppl that I can't go in.what amazes me is I have the 89.00 bundle package but somehow my bill is 154 and they still can't explain that.... Also this is not the first time I have made payment arrangements.... And was allowed to pay my bill!!!!!

Time Warner Cable - Nonexistent Customer Support

1.0
Details
Time Warner Cable is an absolutely atrocious company. Their customer service is abysmal. I currently am signed up for turbo Internet, basic cable, and phone. The cable hasn’t worked in four months and I’ve called customer service and used the online help chat numerous times about the matter. Each time I’ve been told a technician would come out to fix the issue, been given appointments, along with automated confirmation phone calls. However, not once has a technician actually come out to fix the issue and I am still being charged for the unusable service. I literally just got off the phone with Time Warner Cable about this same matter. I was told that Time Warner has no record of sending any technicians despite numerous calls and chats scheduling visits. The representative said she would transfer me to billing where I would receive credit since I’ve been paying for the cable even though it still does not work. Instead of transferring me, however, Time Warner pulled their usual *** and hung up on me. Their horrible customer service never ceases to amaze me. I’ve been a customer for five years and there is always some problem. Time Warner Cable doesn’t give a *** about their customers because they know there’s no other option for many. I greatly look forward to Google Fiber because I am fed up with being treated like *** by such a repulsive company. *** you Time Warner Cable.

Time Warner Cable - Complete lack of quality product and service

continual problem with cable service. Boxes malfunction and the so called bundle deal of phone internet and cable is costing 206.00 a month. You would think for that outrageous cost I could get functioning equipment and a customer service representative who cared about my issues. I'm taking this equipment back and canceling my services. I will do without before I line their pockets with my hard earned cash. The owner should take a look at the level of service being provided to customers. I fully intend to discourage everyone I know and encounter from using time warner. This company is a joke.

Time Warner Cable - Intermittent internet and phone service.

For the past 2 years I have had intermittent internet and phone service. The first 2 times they had me come to the local office and replace the modem. The last 2 times I knew the modem was not the problem, but I replaced the modem again. I have been working in the telecommunications business for the past 25 years. The problem is a signal issue coming into my home. I called them today and spoke with a customer service rep as well as his manager. The only resolution was to credit me with one week of service on my phone, not the internet. That is unacceptable as a loyal customer for the past 5 years or so, just at this location. There is another up and coming service provider here in my area (Google). They will be soon installing their service in my home. Finally, TWC will be experiencing some really healthy competition. Thanks for the headaches and good luck with future customers TWC. It has really been a bad headache. Customer service is not one of your assets. You guys might need to visit USAA and get some really professional customer service training.

Time Warner Cable - PC/Tablet promotion

This happed august-September 2014 the deal ended 10/19/2014 I received a promotional deal in the mail from Time Warner Cable, The deal was if you Bought their high speed internet and bundled it with their cable (and kept it for 90 days), you would get a FREE DELL inspirion 11 3000 series 2 in 1. ($450 value at the time) As a loyal customer to Time Warner Cable, I've been using their high-speed internet 5 or 6 years, I thought if I just add their standard cable; I could get a much needed new 2 in 1 laptop. I mean $20/month + what i was spending on their high speed internet already ($85-$90). They would make the money for the free laptop in a few months, (because of how long you have to keep the service before you get the laptop), and since i was loyal to Time Warner Cable; I had thought a free present from my favorite internet service provider would be nice. (Since Time Warner’s Cable's "high-speed internet" goes out quite frequently) So, to get a free awesome new laptop/tablet sounded like it'd be really nice, especially if they gave back to the customers for all of their constant service outages. Anyway, I didn’t really even want their cable; I really just wanted the laptop (as I’ve been trying to save up for one). It was football season and my father liked watching football so we thought "well fine we will get it until football season ends". Even with multiple calls to Time Warner Cable due to faulty internet issues, i would mention and ask every Representative and Technician about the deal and if there was anything else i needed to do. EVERY representative/technician, etc., on the end of Time Warner Cable's call line had told me I will definitely get the laptop. So, a couple months passed and i get a call from Time Warner Cable, They explain due to a day or two late payment, I was ineligible for the laptop, So we asked if we could just pay off all of our "debt" to them to be able to still get the laptop and they told us there was no possible way and that i was completely ineligible to get the laptop. So, I had spent money on cable I didn't even want and that Time Warner Cable's promotions/deals/savings/whatever you want to call them are only scams and that Time Warner Cable only live in their fine print. I will never recommend Time Warner Cable to anyone ever again. I sincerely condemn Time Warner Cable and advise everyone to STAY AWAY FROM TIME WARNER CABLE no matter where you live.

Time Warner Cable - Billing and Account Discrepancies

I signed up for a bundle package that included home phone, tv, internet and security. My monthly plan was supposed to be no more than $190 a month. As of November 3, 2014 until February 9, 2015 my bill each month has been over $300 and each month i have to call into customer service, go into the retail store for them to correct my billing. I have asked on numerous occasions for a supervisor in the escalations department to contact me regarding the inconsistency in billing and to date no one from that department has contacted me. Im tired of customer service lack of knowledge of their jobs.

Time Warner Cable - I was told alot of lies

I was told by a sales reprep that I would get everything for 89.99 a month. I even went over all the channels I wanted and she said no problem. My bill is 209 a month and they admitted they lied to me. Then I asked for my free ipad and was told no so that was a lie also. Then it took them two days to install and many hours and many different people and all the orders were screwed up. Now I was told I would get a free credit card for 150 dollars but it takes three months to get and I am not holding my breath. I really do not think it will come

The entire nation needs to start a class action law suit against all the cable companies! They are totally running a monopolistic business, against laws (can't buy your own cable box and have them provide a security card), BS!

Time Warner Cable - Bundled package and promo RIP OFF

We changed to WTC due to a promotion and money saving program. We had to rewire and update /BUY new equipment to have their services but, with the offered savings, it made sense. On top of it, they offered a laptop if you tried their service for 90 days and kept your account in good standing. Our special program keeps increasing and no laptop. Today, we are told that we don't qualify for the laptop as that promo is over! Worse is that their internet service is UNSTABLE! Constantly dropping. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. HUGE RIP OFF

Time Warner Cable - Bundle Review from Trabuco Canyon, California

Hello . For 25 years i have used the YP yellow pages and succesfully done business through them especially new customers. September of 2013 my small tile installation company was solicited by Time Warner B2B . After consideration i agreed to let Time Warner supply internet , VOIP and the yellow page ad. Last year they placed an acceptable ad as i always have had for 20+ years. This year i was notified by YP representative telling me that no ad had been listed. I immediately contacted advertising department at Time Warner. The man reassured me that the same ad would be in the same phone book as it was last year "it will be the same exact ad because nothing has changed." I was told to disregard the YP sales lady and not to worry. Guess what ? December comes around and NO AD!!! Had I not contacted them to let them know of the YP problem it could have been a simple mustake but i did notify them in plenty of time for them to correct this. I am speaking with an attorney about this. That ad is the only advertising i do and now for a year it is gone. Think twice about letting them control your business phone. I am totally appalled! Time Warner Cable - Time Warner overcharging.

2.2
Details
I have been signed up with Time Warner cable for some time and I continue to see my bill steadily rising. The package that was purchased was the three in one deal with internet, phone and cable; no special channels except a ton of extra channels that were duplicates of other channels I already had or never watch. I currently have one DVR and 3 normal cable boxes. I decided to try and cut the bill down by returning the three cable boxes and upgrading to two DVR'S, in hopes of saving money. In the process of going line by line with customer service trying to make this happen, I was told the service would go up even more and the return of the standard cable boxes would not help lower the price of the service. So i continued looking at the bill and realize that the free modem was not free I was being charged to lease it, but the best part which did not show up on the bill is that they were charging me for Wi-Fi when I have always had my own wireless router, so how long have they been charging me for that?

Time Warner Cable - Plug and Play is a Joke

1.4
Details
I called up a service representative in Austin, TX to set up service for TV and internet at my new apartment, as we were so unfortunate to have only the option of TWC (because the main offices are across the street, I guess they have a monopoly on the place). I agreed to the price of $124/month in a special bundle deal that boasted 200 mbps download speeds, HD TV with 200+ channels and a DVR to boot (phone included, but didn't want it). I go to pick up the box, the modem, and relevant cables, the guy was agreeable and it seemed great. Well, it's been a living *** ever since. I bring everything back, hook up the coax cable to the wall and get internet, hook up my laptop and get everything squared away with passwords and what not, no problem. Then I go to set up the cable box, attaching it to a Samsung LED TV and coax from the wall (no splitter), power it up and it starts booting. Then it gets to a message "Acquiring Application Information..." and it freezes with an error message "Alt" on the box. Okay, unplug everything, try again. Same problem (repeat about 3 times just to be sure). So I call customer service, they try to do everything they can on their end, to no avail. Would I like a technician to come out? Yes, please let them come fix it. It's Friday and the earliest is Wednesday, sure okay, fine, hang up. Next day I get a call from a different number, leaves a voicemail telling me to confirm, cancel, or reschedule by calling back. I do so an hour after the first call, but the line is dead, going through the "call may be monitored" mumbo jumbo, and then just has nothing (waited for 2 minutes, still nothing). Hmm, that's odd. I go to the actual store, surprised they are open on Saturday, that's cool, and they give me another box to try out. Take it back, same problem. Hmm, that's odd. I'll call again to see what's going on. Repeat same process, and now I get to the "can we schedule a technician" and I'm like "yeah, there's one coming on Wednesday", and they're like "no, we don't have anyone coming out there". Obviously very confused and upset that my appointment got canceled for no reason. Okay, when can they come? They can come Friday, fine, I'll take that, oh and there might be a charge to have them come out, seriously? So, I don't want my appointment to mysteriously "disappear" again, so we call the main number, automated person asks us if we are calling about appointment "yes", and want to confirm, "yes". Cool, we're good right? Nope, I get 4 calls from the mystery TWC number, pick up 2 times and call back others to nobody on the line. Hmm, that's strange... Then, I get a call on Monday, 2 days later. A guy with a thick accent asks me about how I've been having problems and if the problem is still there "no". Rudely asks to me to check, as if I didn't already check it! "no". Okay, sir, we can send a technician out. Can you please confirm the appointment I have here. What!?!? "Yes, I've already confirmed". Okay, thank you, goodbye sir. Now it gets ***. One hour later, I get a call from the mystery dead number again, and another guy with an accent goes through the same process, after I protest I already confirmed multiple times, and yes I want to confirm. Now I'm hoping they actually show up on Friday, or else I'm going to go beserk on them! Moral of the story: Don't choose TWC if you can avoid them, they are the absolute worst!

Time Warner Cable - No Care Attitude in Customer Service

1.3
Details
I cannot even begin to describe the annoyance that Time Warner Cable service is. We added cable TV and internet to our home about 4 months ago. First we were denied the special promotion that was supposed to come with the package we selected (the main reason we selected that package) because we "didn't understand the terms of service" which is their way of saying "sorry" they didn't tell and us the rules and it's our fault for not reading the fine print. Promotion aside, we've been waiting since the day of installation for them to file and process our damage claim. We've called at least 6 times asking for the status of our claim and every time we're told we'll get a call back within the next 24 hours. They have no intention of ever fixing the damage to our home that the installer made. Speaking of the installer, this man was completely incompetent. It took him 2 days to install basic cable and internet and he still did it incorrectly. First he told us that due to the age of our home (lets just say it's very old) that he wouldn't even be able to install cable at our location. We had to walk him through step by step how he could in fact bring cable to the home and how to do it. When the homeowner has to tell you how to do your job from start to finish that's the first red flag. He finally agreed with us that yes, he could install cable but needed to return the next day to do it. When he came back he didn't tell us he was here he just started in outside. Not very professional in my opinion as you should always tell the homeowner that you are on their property. Then came the damage to our home. He attempted to bring in cable the way we suggested but apparently couldn't. This was after drilling 2 holes into the exterior of the house. Finally his third hole worked and he was able to fish it inside. He also drilled *** in the brand new trim that we just put up in our newly remodeled family room. We specifically told him do not drill! My husband was walking back from the garage with the tools to remove the trim when the installer decided to drill the hole anyways. We now have a hold in our new cedar trim. This is all part of the damage claim that they refuse to address. The last straw was when another TWC employee just walked into our home, no knock, the other installer never mentioned someone else was coming, this man just walked right into our home unannounced! Even worse, he never ONCE introduced himself! Just came into our home and started chatting and joking with the other installer! I work from home and my office at the time was set up in the family room where the cable was being installed. Imagine my surprise when I look up to see a strange man walking through my house and does't take the time to tell me his name or why he's even here. Thank goodness I have a large German Shepherd that made me feel at least somewhat protected from this stranger. We receive cable service to 3 rooms in our home. 1 room from the beginning has had a terrible connection. The sound skips and becomes distorted, the image gets blocky and freezes rendering the TV completely useless as you can't see or hear the show that you're attempting to watch. They've been out twice to service this and each time they leave saying it's fine and if there is a problem it's on their end and they are working on it. If there was a way to rate 0 starts I would in an instant.

Time Warner Cable - Tried to Cancel TWC and they transferred me 9 times!!!!

1.0
Details
My family and I are getting ready to put our house on the market and to cut cost decided to drop our bundle with TWC. I called to cancel and I kid you not got transferred 9 times!!! I am not even joking!! Each person I talked to verified everything and said why are you calling. To cancel my services-oh ok well I am not in that department I have to transfer you. Ok.....once, twice, three times. On the forth time I was like ok now, you are the 4th person I have talked to now....Oh sorry I promise I will get a person to help you. Fifth person-verified info-transferred, Sixth person-verified info transferred and guess what-the Seventh person suddenly couldn't hear me anymore!!! They told me to call back because they could not hear me and hung up. Funny how the other 6 could. I called back #8. I was about to go crazy. I was starting to panic like OMG what am I going to do? I seriously cannot get anyone to help me and get this account canceled. Finally number 9. When I got to her I said ok now I have been transferred nine times!!! I just want to cancel. She then kept asking me what I liked or didnt like about tv home or internet, what am I going to do now. I was like-ok like I said you are the 9th person I just want to cancel please just cancel. She would not take no for an answer. She just kept asking me questions over and over and over and told me I had to answer. At this point I was beyond pissed but tried to keep my cool because I didnt want to be transferred anymore and I'm sure asking for a supervisor would have been a joke or another disconnect and I didnt want to talk to 9 people again. So I answered all her questions with the answer ***. She finally shut up and canceled me. It was such a nightmare. Worst experience of customer service i have ever had with any company whatsoever!!! Time Warner Cable is the worst. Very very rude and incompetent.

Transferred to 8 people before asking for a supervisor. All I needed was to downgrade.

I hope this company folds because it is the worst experience I have ever had with any customer service people and their service is unreliable at best. I am blessed to be moving to a new city where I do not need their *** service.
