I WAS WITH DIRECT TV TRANSFRE TIMEWARNER WITH A BUNDLE DEAL ALL THREE CABLE,PHONE,INTERNET , THE BILL WAS GOOD AT FIRST THREE MONTHS LATER IT START GOING UP I CALL IN CALL TO LET THEM NOW I HAVE A HARDSHIP LOST MY HUSBAND IN MY BILL NEED HELP I WAS LIED OVER IN OVER I WILL LOVE TO KEEP THE SERVICES THE BILL TO HIGH .I NEED MY PHONE I HAVE TWO HANDICAP FAMILY MEMBERS IN MY HOME ONE ON DIALYSIS AT HOME . on 3/7/18 I had frontier. Spectrum salesman came to door and offered a big savings. $133.00 per mo. for 3 bundle.(tv, internet,phone) Frontier called and offered me a better offer, and I prefered their menu, and services. TOTAL canceled spectrum . had frontier reconnected. by 3/28/18. have received a bill from spectrum of $193.00 for that short period, AND A BILL FOR THIS MO.!!??? TOTAL ?376.95 . THIS IS DESPITE THE FACT THAT I CALLED BILLING WHEN I CANCELLED THEIR SERVICE.AND WAS ASSURED I WOULD NO BE BILLED FOR FULL MO. I AM HANDICAPPED, HOUSE BOUND. TOLD THEM THEIR EQUIPMENT WAS HERE AND READY TO BE PICKED UP. THEY SAID THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO UNTIL APRIL 12TH. LIVING ON SMALL SS. THIS IS SUCH ABUSE I CANNOT DEAL WITH. WHERE ARE THE AUTHORITIES TO STOP THIS ABUSE AND FRAUD?

They are known for this and President Trump needs to know We all need to complain to him because they know we have no alternatives I went to leave them called ATT and other cable companies and they said oh no we aren’t able to service there The employee was dumb enough back then before Trump to tell me they have agreements with other companies not to service there so customers can’t go back and forth when unhappy so they secretly assign territories which is illegal monopoly

On going issues. Service always messing up, tv box doesnt work half the time. Internet goes down all the time. Im tired of paying for *** service. Asked to speak to a manager, the respresentative reaponded with "why?" And never let me talk to a manager, instead just gave me the run around about basically wanting me to call everytime the service is interrupted. Im sorry but i have 3 children and a job, i dont have time to call these people every other day and talk for 20 minutes to get NO where. Why was i not able to speak to a manager? Why am i paying for a service that doesnt work a lot of the times. They should discount the bill at the very least for this continuous problem. Every other service provided by companies will reimburst you to make things right, why wont they???!!

WHEN TIME WARNER BECAME SPECTRUM THEY DELETED CHANNELS THAT WE ORIGINALLY HAD FROM OUR ORIGINAL PACKAGES, MEANING WE HAD TO ADD ON MORE COSTLY SERVICES TO GET THE CHANNELS WE HAD WHEN IT WAS TIME WARNER. WE ARE CHARGED FOR "100 SPEED" YET NONE OF US ACTUALLY GET IT AND WE KEEP SEEING GREAT OFFERS FROM SPECTRUM/TIME WARNER (WHICH IS PART OF CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS NOW) AND WHEN YOU CALL THE COMPANY YOU ARE TOLD "OFFERS ARE ONLY FOR NEW CUSTOMERS". SO NEW CUSTOMERS GET GREAT OFFERS, OLD LOYAL CUSTOMERS GET NOTHING. "Special rates" for new customers is a common marketing practice in the industry. It is meant to lure new customers with a low price and then hoping they continue with them if for no other reason than inertia---people somehow find it difficult to call up and cancel their service even when their rates go up after a year or two.

Charter merged with TWC and as a result the service of both has suffered, eg., Charter email, now Spectrum is terribly inefficient and badly-designed. As for the 100mbs you are supposed to get---Charter probably says something like "up to" 100mbs. In my area, at least their cable internet is just fine and does the job with few outages altho it does not approach 100mbs either. I dropped Charter cable TV a few years ago and now just have the internet with which I use for Amazon Prime, Netflix, Roku box, etc.

and happily watch any and all TV/movies we could possibly want. Why pay for cable TV channels you don't watch?

The AG of New York found Spectrum was ripping customers off when claiming they can provide Internet speeds they know they cannot achieve. I wrote to the AG of NY Office about my low Internet speeds when I read about their findings.

The AG promptly notified Spectrum of my complaint and the results were swift - 3 visits by techs to replace wiring throughout my building and a credit on my bill for 6 months of payments I made for the faster speed they couldn't provide. Call Spectrum and tell them you know about the New York AG's finding that Spectrum LIES and that you will take them to Small Claims Court or beyond !

I signed up as a new customer for the bundled package on 4-3-17 early morning was told i would be connected by 7 pm that day, this is 4-5-17 and still waiting. After 6 phone calls and another trip to the local office in Zanesville where i signed up and got my equipment all i have got is a run around and empty promises. This new Spectrum is a joke!!!!

We purchased a TV/Internet package for $120 or there about per month and set up payment via debit card to automatically go out each month. All good so far. 1 month in a second payment went out of our bank account in addition to the contracted payment for $89 - nowhere did this show on our TWC account, customer service were useless and after this happened three times in consecutive months - in addition to our regular contracted payment - I contacted the bank and they advised to cancel the card (at great inconvenience as we had to revise all payments to a new card). We DID NOT set the new debit card up with TWC but instead logged in every month and paid the contracted amount. Still no customer service solution but at least by cancelling the card the theft from our bank account stopped. For a few months anyway as several months later and having only used the card manually online each month to pay, the payments (now $95) started to appear again. Once again customer service useless and the rep that sold me the package hasn't solved it either in 6 weeks and so we are left to visit their office with a year of bank statement to claim back the $800 or so that they owe us. USELESS USELESS USELESS.

Time Warner Cable - TWC/Spectrum - Ripoff

Where to begin. After logging 15 phone calls to TWC/Spectrum to get internet/tv service at my residence I now find myself in the probably not so unique predicament of dropping the tv portion of their service. Should be easy, right? WRONG. My journey started with me wanting to cancel tv service and ended with me abruptly ending the call because TWC/Specturm does not respect their customers. In a nutshell: TWC Starter TV with 200mb Internet. I asked to drop the TV portion and stick with the Internet portion. To which the sales rep does their dance and spin to ask me why I want to disconnect. Don't bother sonny. This is call number three to disconnect because the first two calls produced reps that wanted to more than DOUBLE the cost of my service to get a few extra channels. Not interested; so TWC/Spectrum, this is me dropping your TV service, oh but that can't be done. No, the rep instead asks me questions on usage and # of devices that we use for internet. Why? What does that have to do with anything. Well, because he tells us we have two choices when dropping TV, 100mb or 300mb internet because that's all that Spectrum offers. Well if I'm legacy TWC, then why would I factor into a Spectrum plan? And why was it pointed out in my two previous calls when they wanted to charge me more than double that I was a TWC customer and could NOT switch to a Spectrum plan. So my choices are to not drop TV, pay more for 300mb internet or get penalized and be dropped down to 100mb internet for the same price I'm paying for 200mb and starter TV. It's CRIMINAL? How do you get away with doing this to people. It's like taking your girlfriend out on a date to a good restaurant, and then telling her if she wants to stay with you, your going to take her to a crummy restaurant or else she'll have to pay the bill if she wants to go to a fancy restaurant! Ludicrous. I'll be writing that registered letter to the CEO tonight and hope and pray he has more sense then his front line staff.

Yup! I am in Wisconsin and have the same identical issues.

When I worked for Time Warner as a sub contractor, these guys were golden, the best company I did business with. On the other hand, as a consumer/ customer it's been a night mare. My bill went from $150.00 per month to $180.00 per month. It was at this point I finally convinced my lady-friend to go to ROKU.

It was an easy install and life is good. I no longer shovel money to Time Warner every month. I'll never ever go back to Time Warner. The tons of advertising they send to us is ridiculous...mind boggling.

There is a learning curve with ROKU, the more you play with it the more you will like it. ROKU has tons of channels and after 30 days if you don't want to continue, you can get a refund, money back guarantee. It's a stress relief to get rid of Time Warner, believe me. I still have the phone and internet through Time Warner until the over-build comes in.

A competitor will soon be available, and I can finally say good buy Time Warner, once and for all and I will be at peace with the world at last.

I can find my "center" and serenity will return. Best of luck to you...go go ROKU.

I have been with Time Warner for over 10 or 15 years. I do not use pay per view.

My bills are never constant and go anywhere from $150.00 up. The beginning of June 2017, the service went out for 5 hours, about two weeks later the service went out for 15 hours.

I was smart enough to call and get credit for all those hours. I am writing this to warn other customers, that if you do not call, credit will NOT be given to you.

Time Warner Cable - TWC PROVIDES TERRIBLE SERVICE

My complaint with Time Warner Cable is an ongoing issue. EVERYDAY I have issues with Wifi and Cable TV services. My problem date(s) is ongoing and exist EVERYDAY! I consistently loose my connection to Wifi a few times a day, especially in the morning. Every time a contact TWC I hear the same response "there is no outage in your area." By the time I actually speak to a live person my service has returned but TWC cannot explain why my service is unreliable. Their service representatives do not have any technical experience and it is impossible to speak with someone who has the experience to correctly address and fix the issues. Constantly apologizing just makes matter worse. My issue with their CABLE TV service is an ongoing problem also... the picture blinks off leaving us to watch a black screen for a few seconds before the picture returns. The sound consistently goes out as though the TV has been muted. I want to repeat...these is an ongoing EVERYDAY ISSUE! How can a company get away with charging for services they cannot provide? Something must be done to correct EVERYONES' SERVICE!

I am so tired of Time Warner Cable's poor service and high prices. I live along Woodruff Road in Anderson Township/Cincinnati, Ohio 45255. The cable and internet here is very problematic. There are frequent cable and internet outages even when the weather is nice, cable channels are not clear or sharp like Cincinnati Bell fioptics-the 720p HD channels look like you are watching streaming video, they don't carry all local Cincinnati channels, and channels frequently pixelate. As for the internet service, it is very slow and will go down during busy times. Their service is garbage and never works right. I have called and emailed them many times and they open trouble tickets, but nothing is ever fixed. Avoid their services at all costs!

I was overcharged by time warner cable. Only getting basic tv, Internet and phone they charged me 200-300 dollars a month for something I never ordered or recieved. I cancelled everything lady year and bill should have been 100$ a month max. I was taking care of my 90 year old father and sister that has rheumatoid arthritis .. I have a lot on my plate. I called and was routed to overseas person in the Philippines that was unable to speak proper English. This occurred twice .. I finally was able to speak to an American last night. Found out I have been being charged for premium plus. I never ordered it. I don't get any channels only basic. I am beyond furious. Research to my situation brought me to reports of TWC overcharging innocent people. I will fight like a warrior to get my money back.

On September 24, 2016, Paid my bill of $186.20 for TWC services. When I checked my account it showed an unauthorized payment of $186.20 STOLEN from my account without my knowledge. When I made TWC aware of this problem I got this "We're sorry for any inconvenience, your money will be refunded by to you on Sunday". Well in SC the banks aren't open on the weekends. So I waited til Monday. Called the bank to see if my money was back in my account, guess what? It wasn't, no surprise there. So I had to call these incompetent idiots again ONLY to be told my refund was not submitted. Since this initial call I was lied to by supervisors in management positions, who lied to comfort me so I would think that TWC had my best interest in mind. But we all know the BS that TWC pulls. So I decided to record each and every call. I still haven't received my refund. But I will contact my State's Attorney General's office and any other platform or agency that is willing to help me get my money back from these crooks.

Mysister and I moved to Kannapolis 03/18/16. At first our tv and internet went out several times per day. I should earn tech pay for rebooting or checking wires with techs on phone. We have had to call-them dozens of times, had 4 visits (2 contractors and 2 actual emplyees). Was refused ANY considerationn on our bill. Was told by a supervisor in Philopenes named Beth (yea right) that whole house dvr would add no ad'l charges to our bill. I contacted public utilities comission and still got no where. Tomorrow I am returning all 3 boxes and modem. Why i paid $180/mo for this agrivation is beyond me.

88 yo Dad does not have a wirking modem to recieve inbound calls. Twc cancelled the appt to fix the problem because...they could not call to reach hm to confirm appt time due to no wirking phone line. Just pathetic. Was told by 2 leads a tech will be avail to fix the problem. Cable and phone went out the same day it was installed 9/15/16 and still not repaired. Will see what story they come up with tomorrow.

Time Warner Cable - Correcting problem with service

My service has been flaky for the last three months. The picture has been pixelating, internet service has been breaking up along with the telephone service. Technicians had been to my home three time in three weeks replacing all the cable connectors in the house including a new signal booster and power supply. They finally started checking their network when they could not prove the problems were inside the house. After spending another three weeks checking the signal at the pedestal they had their network technicians start tracing the problem. That took another two weeks. I was told that they needed to replace several thousand feet of fiber. Tomorrow we will be starting another three weeks with the flaky service. Yes they have given me several credits for my "inconvenience" should have been more since the service was interrupted on a consistent basis. The poor service could have been repaired six weeks ago if they had realized the problem was on their end not in my house everyone I talked to wanted to send signals the my equipment and technicians to the house. The majority of people I talked to were overseas and were following a trouble shooting script that did not deal with the problems I was having. I have been a TWC customer for over 20 years and this is the worst service I have experienced. Now that Google fiber is offering telephone service I am seriously considering changing providers if the problems are not fixed this week.

Was on a promo for: 100 speed internet, tv plus HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax and phone services for $153. and some change. This expired Nov 2015 and price jumped to $200.00 and some change. Then some month's ago the bill (for the SAME SERVICE) jumped to $276. and some change. No one can tell me why the $76.00 increase less than a year from the last increase with the same services. Called to cancel all services and after being on call for almost an hour, Rep offers to remove all premium channels but increase internet speed to 200 for $165. and some change (including fees and taxes). I call back to accept offer but now after speaking to THREE Reps, no one seems to know or be able to find the promo codes initially offered???? This price increase, coupled with the fact that I have had multiple service issues (I have had at least 8 technicians in the past 15 months)...and now this. Time Warner is THE WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET AND EVEN WITH AN ACQUISITION WILL CONTINUE TO AWFUL! ***Thankfully Google Fiber in on the way to my area and I know TW will lose massive amounts of customers when this goes nationwide*****GOOGLE FIBER PLEASE HURRY!!!
