A SELSMAN CONVINCED ME TO CANCEL WITH AT$T AND TO SWITCH TO TIMEWARNER AFTER PROMISSING ME $300 PAYBACK IN CREDIT CARD. AND THEY TOLD ME THE REPAIRMAN WILL HANDLE ME A CARD DISCRIBING HOW TO GET THE $300. ON 06/16/2016 THE TWC MAN INSTALLED THE INTERNET . CABLE AND PHONE. AND BEFORE HE LEAVES I ASKED HIM FOR THE $300 INTRUCTION, HE REPLIED BY TELLING ME, NOT HIS DUTY, I MUST CONTACT TWC. CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE SAME DAY 6/6.2016 I CALLED TWC. CUSTOMER SERVICE OVERSEAS A MANAGER CALLED ELIA ASKED ME TO SEND THEM MY LAST STATEMENT FROM AT&T AS A PROOF OF SWITCHING SERVICES. I WAITED UNTILL I RECEIVED IT, AND I CALLED TWC CUSTOMER SERVICE (WHO ARE OVERSEAS) HIS NAME WAS ALEXA (BUDGE # Z78 ) TOLD ME TO FAX THE AT$T STATEMENT TO WITH A LETTER OF EXPLINATION INCLUDING MY ACCOUNT NUMBER (315) 463-0225 AND TO WAIT 5 TO 7 BUSINESS DAYS UNTILL I RECEIVE THE $300 CREDIT CARD . I DID WHAT I WAS TOLD TO DO, BUT DID NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN TE MAIL. THEN I CALLED TWC CUSTOMER SERVICE SPOKE TO A MANAGER BY THE NAME OF ELIA WHO ASKED ME TO WAIT ANOTHER 3 DAYS. THEN 3 DAYS LATER I CALLED TWC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN USA, I SPOKE TO CUSTOMER SOLUTION THEY TOLD ME WE SENT YOU A REDEMTION CODE BY MAIL I SAID I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM YOU . THEN CUSTOMER SOLUTION SAID NOT A PROBLEM WE WILL SEND YOU ANOTHER REDEMTION CODE AND SHE PUT A REQUEST FOR THAT AND GAVE ME THE TRACKING NUMBER (23838059) SHE SAID IT MAY TAKE 3-4 WEEKS AND TOLD ME THE FAX NUMBER (315) 463-0225 THAT I WAS PROVIDED IS WRONG, THEY ARE NO LONGER USING THIS NUMBER. BUT IT IS OK NO NEED TO REFAX. 7/20/2016. AFTER TALKING TO SEVERAL TWC CUSTOMER SERVICE OVERSEAS I END UP TALKING AT 5:45 PM TO A MANAGER AT CUSTOMER CARE IN USA HIS NAME CREG ( BUDGE # 5HI) HE TOLD ME HE UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING AND HE VE SEEN IT HAPPENING TO OTHER CUSTOMER , IT IS A MISTAKE OF SALESMANS BUT THEY WILL HONOR THE PROMISS OF THE $300 . BUT HE CANNOT SEND IT IN CREDIT CARD HE CAN CREDIT MY ACCOUNT $300 IF THAT OK WITH ME, I ACCEPT. THEN HE SAID HE PUT ME ON HIS CALENDER TO CONTACT ME AND CREDIT ME ON 9-10-2016. . BECAUSE 9-10-16 IS A SATURDAY. I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE IN USA ON 9-8-2016 AT 1:18 PM SPOKE TO A MANAGER NAME GEORGE (BUDGE # UX7) WHO TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO WAIT TO CALL THEM 9-16-2016 TO GET THE $300 CREDIT BECAUSE THE CREDIT COMES AFTER 90 DAYS (3 MONTHS) FROM THE INSTALLATION DATE . TODAY 9-16-2016 AFTER 90 MIN ON THE PHONE WITH TIME WARNER CUSTOMER SOLUTION . OF WICH I SPENT 45 MIN ( FROM 9:00 TO 9:45 AM) TALKING TO DENISA ( BUDGE # 4X0) ( FROM 9:45 TO 10:21 AM) WHO TOLD ME FIRST THAT I HAVE TO SPEACK TO NEW INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT BUT I TOLD HER THAT I WAS TALKING TO NEW INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT AND THEY TRASFERED ME TO YOU (ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT) AFTER READING MY FILE SHE INSISTED TO SWITCH ME. I TOLD HER STAY ON THE LINE TO MAKE SURE IT IS THE RIGHT DEPPT. THEY THEY TOLD HER IT IS THE WRONG DEPARTMENT, THEN SHE SWITCHED ME TO CUSTOMER SOLUTION . I SPOKE TO JOOSE ( BUDGE # 4FW) AFTER EXPLAINING TO HIM MY PROBLEM, HE SPOKE TO HIS SUPERVISOR AND TOLD ME THAT HIS SUPERVISOR LISTEN TO MY CONVERSATION WITH CREG ON 7-20-2016 AND EMAILED THE PREVIOUS MANAGER VREG ( BUDGE #5HI) THAT I SOKE TO ON 7_20-2016 AND REQUESTED HIM TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT AS PROMISSED AND TO CALL ME. ( DOES IT MEAN I HAVE TO STAY BY THE PHONE ??) THEN JOOSE (BUDGE #4FW) TOLD ME THAT THE $300 PAY BACK WAS A MISTAKE FROM THE FIRST BEGINING BECAUSE I AM NOT QUALIFIED BUT IF CREG PROMISSED TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT THEN IT IS UP TO HIM. THIS WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT WHEN YOU SIGN UP WITH TIME WARNER CABLE (AKA ) SPECTRUM. NOT THE $300 DOLLARS. SHAME ON YOU BUNCH OF CROOKS, LIARS AND CHEATERS.

Depending on who you get on the line can make a difference in your experience with TWC. They need to do better with some of the customer service agents. Some have attitudes and I even had one chew gum in my ear. Not professional at all!

I have paid my bill on time every month, all $150 of it, for three+ years. Came home today to discover they canceled my account and showed that I had turned in my equipment. Pretty peculiar since my cable box & modem are still here in my home. I spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service just to be transferred back & forth before finally being told there was nothing they could do and I needed to exchange my old equipment for new equipment. Will be turning them in first thing tomorrow. I'm done with TWC.

Time warner cable is the worst company I've ever worked with. Last year I had TWC and then returned my equipment. They "lost" my equipment, charged my $110 and sent me to a collections agency. I called and opened a case and somehow a couple months later they "found" my equipment. Besides that, their time for setting up your services takes +2 hours and the guys don't even use GPS to locate your house. You cannot do anything online and always have to call the 1-800 number. Overall, it's a horrible company to use.

I loved my TWC service in the midwest. I moved to Queens and from the installation, to customer support, to pay by phone, they dropped the ball at every turn. A collection of minimum wage workers who don't give a *** about service or the company. They don't know anything about the product other that the *** script they read. They could train smart middle-school students to give better service than this bunch of mindless nimrods. Shame on Time Warner for hiring a bunch of GED holding dimwits. Another example of a cheap corporation saving money at the expense of the product and customers. Unfortunately the customer support at Verizon Fios is as bad so there is no good local option. Corporations are killing America.

I have been chased, tormented and hounded by Time Warner Cable for almost a year. It has taken almost a year, and I am still not off their mailing list. They continue to send letters to an address where I do not live, where I have never lived, and which does not exist. I am a widow, with no Social Security benefits, no pension from my late husband, yet they send letters to me at an address which does not exist, and to my child in the same building, in a different apartment, when I live on one small salary, my child has a summer job, and we live in the same apartment. They also send letters to my dead husband, at an address that does not exist, and to a building where we moved three months after he died.

I purchased a house in June of this year. In May, as I was planning for the move, I called Time Warner to verify that my new address was serviceable. I was assured that the house I was moving to WAS serviceable, so I did not plan to change to a different provider, as I was promised Time Warner could continue to provide the service. I moved into the house this last Friday and amidst the move, a kitchen remodel, my children starting new schools, and many other time consuming projects, I called Time Warner to set up the new service and was told that this house is NOT serviceable. I have tried to get somebody out here 4 times. The 4th time somebody finally actually (I believe, maybe) came out here, and I then received an email stating that our neighborhood is not serviceable but that I would be contacted within 10 days if they found that they could provide service for the entire subdivision. So now when I would like to have cable, home phone, and internet, I have nothing except a possibility of having Time Warner Cable instead of being sure of it (as I was for the last 3 months). Now I have to shop for a new provider when I'm in the middle of many different projects and have absolutely no time to spare, when I could have done it any time in the last 3 months (when I had much more time to do so). Clearly my time is not important to Time Warner Cable, and obviously I put more planning into my service then Time Warner Cable does. I'm so frustrated with their customer service, and I hate being made to feel so unimportant by a company who's been getting a lot of money from me for years. Time to find a new provider!

Someone from time warner came to my home and open the box on the side of my house and the box in my front yard and lifted all the wires exposing them to the elements but never replaced them back into the secured box. I have been told every day for a month that a service tech is coming that day but no one ever comes to fix the problem. I call and who ever the luck person is that I get to repeat my daily conversation with tells me the same story; " someone will be there today." its a joke they have all of us by the balls. I can't speak to anyone in charge. I can't email anyone. Who runs the show. It looks like every cable company has the same problem.

Started off with the calling customer service and that where everything went wrong, competitive prices maybe are available but you get exactly what you paid for. If you want to get lied and then told you are *** and eventually put on hold for an hour and at the end threaten monetary then TWC is your next cable company. They will say anything you want to hear and whatever it takes for you to sing up and no worries, they have no contract but if you sign up for one of the promotions like I did to get 300 dollars back after 3 months of being a customer it’s been 9 months and still nothing and if you try to leave their customer retention is very experienced at making treats at you and letting you know if you touch your programming or try to cancel you will never see your money and you will pay even more. But not to worry there is no contract. When you ask to speak to a supervisor they wouldn’t not allowed that to happen, she got me to the point where I had to raise my voice and really got me stressed out and came back on the line 6 times to try to negotiate to transfer me to a different department and her supervisor was her friend who didn’t even care to ask me a question he straight up told me if I’m not happy there is a place for costumers like me.

I got one better for everyone. They tried to take money off my credit card after i had officially called the 800 number and asking that they remove the credit card number. That wss on August 15th 2016. On the 17th they tried with the credit card. So on the 18th i called them back on my lunch break and i was livid. They said they wete going to interrupt my cable service even though the bill is not due till August 26th. So i called back after work. Customer rep explained everything or so i thought. Approximately at 8 pm i receive another phone call from these idiots. Wanted to know if i would like to pay by credit or debit card today even though bill is not due! I feel i should go ahead and file a complaint with the attorney generals office in my state. I will be checking out Dish network or Direct Tv. I dont think i would be having half of the problems thst i am having with time warner. There is a huge lack of communication between their employees.

Time Warner Cable - Turned off all service without notice

I have had TWC for 20 years. I am a signature home person which means I pay extra to not wait on the line to speak with someone. Not only do I have cable TV , but also two telephone lines, a full home security system and internet service. I got a Disconnect Notice AFTER they turned off my service. I pay over $300/month to this company and I am sick of their money grabbing ways. A simple phone call from a live person, a timely mailed notice or an email to the correct email address would have prevented this nonsense. I'm going to Direct TV now. At one point I have TWC on direct debit from my checking account and they systematically started taking out more and more money over the amount agreed upon. Clearly this is not a company one can trust. It's too bad because they have very talented personnel who come to my home/office who work very hard, yet someone is pulling these greedy strings at the price of losing longstanding customers. I paid over $5000 to install a TW Intelligent home security system and this is how they treat me?????

Time Warner Cable - Time Warner truck a danger t school children

From El Paso, Tx. TWC employee parking 3or4 ton service truck being parked on city street days at a time without being driven/moved. Truck is move only 3 days a week which to me doesn't make sense it being a company truck. This truck is a 1 man bucket service truck that is a danger especially for school children and car drivers since drivers have to make a complete stop to let the other car go through. Employee was asked about situation and was very rude about it saying we could call the FBI or any public officer and nothing would be done. I hope that being a very responsible company you help in the safety of our children which to me to me many are TWC customers.
