Time Warner Cable is a company that should be investigated for fraud because that's exactly what they are perpetrating on the public. We have called for hours and hours trying to get a response to our query about our refund us and they have never taken any notes in all of the numerous calls we've made they've recorded information incorrectly for their own benefit and have no record of any of our conversations or the equipment that we returned which they are not getting us credit for. They are trying to went out money-wise by attrition by stringing people out this way. It is constant lies and misinformation which in the end of mounts to fraud I wish the agencies would investigate these people as they should be convicted do not use them for any reason whatsoever you will regret it in the end!

I was forced to be in a 3 year contract with TWC Business class, I sold my biz after 2 years, returned ALL my equipment to the main office in Charlotte told them I am no longer in business got my receipt and left. 30 days later I got a bill for 1476.00 I called they said I never cancelled my service and was charged for the remainder of the contract?>?? It was only supposed to be 250.00 early termination fee but they said since I did not call and cancel I am being charged even though I told the people in the main office when I turned in all my equipment that I was done. I vow to NEVER do business with such a deceptive company again. I WILL always tell everyone not to do business with them. I now use the Firestick with Kodi I get way more channels and have NO bill at all

Details
New construction house. It takes them 2 weeks to come out, to see if I can get service and then another wait, to get the install. I had to talk to 4 different representatives and 1 supervisor, to get the order through. I called DISH and had TV service installed in TWO days. Two plus weeks, to hook up a cable for internet, is just flat out *** service. Horrible Horrible Horrible. The representatives are unknowledgeable and do not care if you get service or not. I wish there was another option for internet service, but this is the only choice I have. Bend over and take it in the ***.

Time Warner Cable - What a mistake

TWC is the worst company, their customer service is horrid and they go as far as lie to get business. Stay away if possible! After three years of TWC servicing our home we can tell you first hand TWC have been nothing but a hassle. Never can get a straight answer from customer service depending on who comes on the line. One says this, the other that. Sometimes very rude, (Sam) is the worst to deal with Sam is a joke. They sign you up with a bundle, quoting 1 price and when the bill comes, it's another. PLEASE save yourself time and headaches – GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE! Hopefully the FCC, and other governmental agencies will see the unethically manner Time Warner Cable conducts there business

It might be more helpful if you actually cite specific examples instead of broad generalizations. Also, a majority of the time people do not actually listen to what is included in their bundle, and add a premium they 'want', that is not part of the existing bundle.

Like it or not, bundles are set and do not change based on customers wants. They change based on provider deals given to TWC to be able to discount their service.

without knowing the specifics, there is too little functional information here, and you are best suited reaching out to escalated support in Tier 3 to get a solid review of your account and what can be done. Customer solutions would have to be the ones to make the changes, but Tier 3 can give a detailed view of what happened since their the escalated tech support and generally just plain more intelligent than other groups.

Time Warner cable's definition is customer service is a joke. I recently received one of the new adapter boxes for a television not connected to a cable box. I attempted to install the adapter on Thursday (05/12/16), however got error message 225.1 indicating that there was a problem. I called customer service and was told to redo all of the steps for installation. When that did not work I was told to disconnect the cable from the wall and unplug the adapter for 10 minutes. When that did work I was told that it sometimes take 30 minutes or more for all of the channels to program. Okay, fair enough. I waited until the following day (05/13/16) and got the same message. Spoke to another representative who had me through the same steps as the first representative and still no channels. She then explained that there were several other customers with the same problem and that the issue was being working on. She said it would take approximately three days. Three days later (05/17/16) I was still receiving the same error message. I spoke to another representative who wanted me to go through the same steps as the first one. I explained that I had done that prior to calling and wanted to know where to go from there. He had no answer, was not able to confirm that the problem had been reported or even worked on for the prior three days. I don't know if the representatives make things up as they go or if they are reading from the "customer service play book - what to tell customers when you don't know how to help them". So a week after getting the adapter I still cannot make it work on my television. I am scheduled to have a technician come out this evening; hopefully this will solve the problem. If not, AT&T Uverse is looking real good right now.

Time Warner Cable sales people will give you a price install and suddenly they have no idea how you got that price. Old BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS then they pretend to reconcile the situation by giving you a credit but in the end you are paying more for the service . One lady hung up on my wife and didn't call back , so call supervisor explains B.S.by telling you he doesn't know where that price came from but in will give a 50.00 dollar credit all the while you are on the phone for over an hour mostly on hold ( I suspect while they are laughing ) not even a 1 star fortunately I hadn't stopped my Direct TV .

Just got off the phone with two representatives for their call center. Erika the sales person and Brandi the manager, I'm spelling it with an "i" for ***. I changed my service, removed DVRS, and had tech some out. I was promised it would lower my bill. But their backward practice bills for a month in advance at my old rate! I called to ask if the bill would be lowered and was met with some of the rudest most condescending passive aggressive "service" agents I've spoken to in years. And refusal to lower the bill or even offer a miniscule credit. Now, I work in a call center myself, I understand the stress and rude customers and I admit I became irate, but I didn't start that way until I was put on hold 10 times and on the phone for over an hour. These useless individuals made me want to cancel my service immediately. They spoke to me like I was a slow child who needed to be put in time out. I wish I had more power to get them in trouble. This is infuriating. If it weren't my husband's birthday this weekend I'd cancel the service on the spot, but that would only hurt him not the giant TWC. I hate this company. We will be cutting the cord.

No it is still happening, the problem still exists. When you call them all they tell you is they see no outages. Even though you cannot get certian channels right as you are talking to them. The blame it on your house cables but that is not it as I have had them checked. I will be changing soon from Time Warner to AT&T like all my neighbors have and they get all there channels that they are paying for. I pay my cable bill but never get what I pay for. You would think that someone at Time Warner Cable would care but they don't.

I was promised a specific rate for my cable and internet service - good for ONE YEAR (Norman ID# 214402 - promise made on 4/16/15 - supposed to be good through 4/16/16). I have been grossly overcharged. Once I realized how much and how long they've been overcharging me, I called customer service LAST FRIDAY. After the first representative (Victor ID # 2603118) told me that was a "fairytale" (thanks for making me feel valued, Victor!), AND after I talked to THREE MORE representatives, and still hadn't gotten resolution, I was told by Philnesia, ID# 231670, that a supervisor would be informed of all the specifics of my complaint (so, you know, I wouldn't have to tell my story a FIFTH time) and was told said supervisor would call me back within 24 - 48 hours,. That was SIX DAYS ago and I'm still waiting. Not wanting to go through the hassle of phone calls AGAIN, I thought, maybe I'd try chat to at least put it back on the radar that I was STILL WAITING for a call from a supervisor. So, on chat, I was told I would get a call in a couple of minutes. And I did! But.... NOT FROM A SUPERVISOR! Instead, it was from YET ANOTHER representative that wanted me to - YES, you got it - tell them AGAIN what my issue was because this person had no idea! When I asked AGAIN, to simply let me speak with a supervisor, I was told they could not do that without me telling them all the specifics AGAIN. I refused to do so and hung up the phone, thinking surely to God by now, with all those "recorded phone calls" and notes of 4 separate representatives AND a chat "record", that a competent supervisor could surely read/listen to those transcripts and call me back prepared to discuss how they could take care of me, their "valued customer" as they kept calling me. Hahaha. So, I went back to answer my chat representative who had asked me if I had received my phone call, and when I told him, yes, but NOT FROM A SUPERVISOR, was told he would "escalate" me to another team member - still not a supervisor, even though, I have said time and again, I'm not going over all of this again, unless it's with a supervisor. So, this 2nd chat representative (how many representatives is that now? I've lost count! 4 on Friday, 2 on chat, 1 on a return call - SEVEN! Wow! They sure make it easy to get things taken care of! But wait... It's still NOT taken care of!), this escalation specialist proceeded to tell me that if I wanted to speak to a supervisor, I WOULD HAVE TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE TO REQUEST that. Hahahahaha - Haven't I already done that? SIX DAYS AGO?!? And am I still waiting? YES! So, WHY would I waste my time calling AGAIN - to tell my story AGAIN to... how many people this time? To be told I would be called back? Like they called me back after my request last Friday? Like they kept their promise of the same rate for ONE YEAR (which lasted all of 5 months before eventually going up nearly $50 a month?). This company does NOT keep it's promises. Nor does it care about it's "valuable" long-time customers. Time Warner Cable - you can keep the $260 you have overcharged me, but you will not ever get another dime from me. Add that up over another 10 or 20 years and see how much money that loses you. But, yeah, I know - I'm a "valuable" customer that just needs to call customer service again and talk to another 7 or so representatives so they can make more (empty) promises! Thanks for nothing but unkept promises and giving me the run around. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Say goodbye to this "valuable customer" and you can count on me telling EVERYONE I can exactly how this played out. And guess what? That's a promise I WILL keep! We'll see if we can end you up on the top 10 WORST customer service lists this year!

I have been a Time Warner customer for over 2 years due to lack of options. For the first year my box would shut off and reboot randomly every day. I placed numerous calls and all that was done was a signal was resent and my box was to adjust on its own and give me satisfactory service. Eventually a service tech came to my residence and was reluctant to change equipment. after a few adjustments, my cable seemingly worked, only to continue the same problem soon after. A few months ago i became aware that I had been paying for a 200 meg modem and had a 100 modem in my residence with a total signal strength of 43. After learning that the building cable wiring was incorrect, it took 10 days to fix the problem and a service tech representing Time Warner came over ON HIS OWN to replace me with updated equipment. Besides having to move an entire superbowl party downtown after cable box failure, I have been completely unsatisfied with the treatment and neglect i have received and have been basically pushed aside with a free month of Showtime, half-off on equipment monthly charges, and one month of credit toward my account. If I had any extra money I would start a law-suit based on principal alone, never mind all the frustration I have personally experienced and the monetary difference of modem services provided. Once again, business as usual for a large corporation.....completely unacceptable !!

We have had time warner cable for years We had moved and discuss with there people that we would be ending our service at one home and starting at another. We were billed for both accounts for over 3 months and they really never took care of it. Now in the home for over a year we have wrong boxes to the TV and has never been resolved. Now entering to the new year we have a broken modem and phone and we are still paying on our service and for the second time they said they made an appointment and the guy will come out to fix it. Their customer service and the constant lies and the hours on the phone and getting nowhere this service is completely horrible.

TWC Customer Service Rep. Are the worse I have ever experienced in my life. They are absolutely rude; and care nothing about their customers. Promises and offers are made that are never met. I was at the customers call center in Garland Tx for 1 hr & 35 minutes just to pickup a digital box. While there the rep told me she could save me money & I needed to call customer service for more details. Like a fool I did. They promised me 50$ in savings. Scheduled a service call to switch out my services in 2 weeks. We waited the 2 weeks to be told by their technician that he could not install a full home dvr in our home for whatever reason???? Horrible Service definitely cancelling this service!!!!
