Time Warner Cable - Cables all over my rental properties

All my properties have wires running from the outside into the inside of the house I have holes throughout my house from cables instead of them using the same cable for service in the apartment I have a whole bunch of different cables running in with different holes into the house.

Time Warner Cable - Installation Review from Fort Mitchell, Kentucky

Worst customer service experience of my life!!! When service was being installed the technician went to an incorrect address on my street before finding my location, he set my account up under the incorrect address and a completely different name. I never recieved a bill so i called time warner on september 7th and entered my phone number, the automated system told me my bill was due on september 6th and i paid the minimum amount due to stay current thru the next billing cycle (oct 6th). On september 27th i came home and service was shut off, i called and spoke to a tech this time who asked my name, when i told her she said they had the account under another persons name, she then asked my address and it was incorrect, my account was under the first address the tech went to. They had completely messed up my billing cycle, instead of being due on oct 6th i was told my correct billing date was sept 25th and to turn my service back on i had to make a payment that day. I was livid and asked to speak to a supervisor (Ashley) who was very rude and dismissive and actually put me on hold for 30 mins just to hang up on me. I call back immediatly and im transfered to brian in customer service who basically says he apologizes for their mistake but i still have to pay again for my service even though the mistake was on them. I told him that i would not pay twice in the same month when they had all of the information wrong, and put me on an incorrect billing cycle. After arguing and getting no where i told brain if they would not fix this i wanted to cancel my service. He responded with okay I'll transfer you now. This took 2 hours of my day and i got no where, ashley and brain were extremely rude and dismissive! My fiance called back before i cancelled my service and spoke to another supervisor who was very nice and immediatly restored our service for no fee. I would not reccomend getting service with this company, they are incompetent and do not take care of their customers.

This is the first time I've ever put a review up on the internet. I'm so disappointed in regsrds to what customer service has turned into. I started service 2 months ago. I was told that I could pay my first month's bill when cable/internet was installed and the installation fee would be waived. The technicians said they couldn't take my money because they weren't allowed to, I had to pay it over the phone. After this TWC was unable to find my account when I called..for 6 weeks this happened. They literally told me that I didn't have service with them, as I was staring at the cable box and using the Internet. After the 6th phone call and endless hours they figured out that my last name was spelled incorrectly and the account was under another phone number which had no correlation to me at all. "Kylie" #2535228 agrees to fix my information and comp my bill $115..Im happy. But that never happened. I called the next month when I got my $348 bill for 2 months of service with (supposedly) basic cable and internet. I spent 35 minutes just having them find my account, 50 minutes on hold while "Tony" worked on lowering my bill... $3 a month which I said wasn't good enough. I was sent to a supervisor #2564137 who was rude and raised her voice to me and interrupted me as I expressed my frustration CALMLY I might add! I ended up downgrading my package because that was the only was the only way my bill could be lowered. I was sent to billing to deal with the $115 that "Kylie" was supposed to comp to my bill. The representative that I talked to named Nicole was rude and would not honor what Kylie had offered to do even after reading the notes and seeing that it was supposed to be comped. I was told because I don't have any "service issues" they wouldn't change anything on my bill. I'll be leaving TWC for the second time and will never recommend them to anyone.

Time Warner Cable - Bad customer care

Time warner was promising dates about when a tech would come out to install my services and when the day got here (which i had to wait 4 days for) they rescheduled my appt for another 2 days later after they came to my house and sat outside and didnt even attempt to come to my house or climb up the pole seeing thats all they had to do. Then they gave me a hard time when i wanted to cancel my services.

Time Warner Cable = LIARS.

Started having issues with the internet on Jan. 5th. Was told on Jan. 6th a new line needed to be installed and supervisor would be out on Jan. 7th. Jan 7th: NO SHOW #1. Called TWC on Jan. 8th: was told someone would be out at 5pm that day....NO SHOW #2. Technician showed up on Sun Jan. 10th and miraculously fixed issue without new line needed. Called Jan. 11th and cancelled work order for new line since internet was fixed. Woke up on Sat Jan. 16th with crew digging in yard for new line. ??? Confronted them and was told work order was never cancelled. They finished installation and left, leaving our house with NO INTERNET SERVICE AGAIN. Called and demanded TWC have a technician come out that day to remedy the problem they caused. Spoke to 3 people in the Philippians who could not help in any way, except to schedule an appt 3 days later which meant additional days of no internet, using up data on 7 phones and having to use iPhones as hot spots to send work emails. (My husband's office is at home and internet is needed 24/7). Called again Sun. Jan. 17th to see if we could make any headway and was told a technician would be out that day. Jan. 17th: NO SHOW #3. Was later told that maintenance cancelled that appt. Communication is the company is the worst I've ever encountered. They make promises they cannot keep. They hire third party companies to answer EMERGENCY calls on the weekends that are continents away. They hire third party companies to dig new lines and do not communicate to them when work orders are cancelled. They do not offer to reconcile services discontinued, nor customers personal time and money spent. WORST COMPANY EVER.

Time Warner Cable is a joke

A few days ago I put in an order and they told me my one time payment was $14.95 installation and they then try billing me $80.00. I go back and forth with them and they tell me my installation date is the 14th at 9 am. I confirm that I pay the money on the 14th today and now I owe 114.93 and 40 bucks for the installation. I have now called and been on chat for the last hour and a half and have been sent to 4 different chat agents and two different phone agents. Some how they only have a few supervisors for a call center probably full of 100s of agents. Highly unlikely. Now the current chat agent is telling me to call another number. Ridiculous. I will NOT be choosing TWC and you shouldn't either.

Resolved: Time Warner Cable - Rewards card bait and switch

Sales person told me that I would be eligible for a rewards card if I switched my internet service to Time Warner Cable. After a few weeks, I called to check the status only to find out that they would need to open a ticket and to elevate it further. Several phone calls, and 6 weeks later they tell me that they can't send the rewards card because I'm not eligible. I switched and spent money on installation and equipment (modem/router) because it was agreed upon that I would receive the rewards card, but I'm told that the sales person was wrong and that they can't help. Very frustrated by their false advertisement/bait and switch.

Time Warner Cable - Service fees

Upon having Time Warner Cable installed, I had to pay 122.94. I was supposed to have free installation so I had assumed that the 122.94 was for the first month, 4 days later I'm getting a bill for 189.86 due in 4 days, I call and was told the 122.94 is a "service fee" charge? Really? I was not told anything about a service fee. Customer rep just kept repeating herself. It's a service fee, it's a service fee. Why am I paying a service fee, plus deposit? All she would do is credit back the installation fee that was on the bill! Yay 29.00 credit, but why don't you say anything about a service fee?
