I was appauled today I was lied to in order to get service connection over a year ago and had dealt with a supervisor name Alex Scott months ago. Well I asked him for the number to ther corporate offices in New York and totally denied me the information yet when I told him I would file a complain about him he enjoys telling me that my call with him was not recorded. And earlier I received a call from a Glenda in that same office and she was so rude and when I asked her name she Studdard and was thinking what to say...This company is despicable and commit fraud in order to get customers. TWC was on ABC World Nightly News w David Muir and he reported that the company was making customers call them for an issue and told to SELL or RESELL the fix to the problem.

Time Warner Cable - *** Service for Southport, Oak Island -Brunswick county area.

We have had 5 tech-guys out to our condo to try and get us service. They keep telling us, our condo needs a chase box ( a box where all wires are connected to your unit) Our condo manager states all condo's are cable ready and only such box is phone wire chase box. We have have gone round & round with this, we h ave looked at 6 condo units...two above us -- two below us and 2 on sides..... and none have such box in them. No one will put any of the problems down in writing either... Dish here we come!!!

Time Warner Cable Complaint

On November 30, 2015, I called TWC because of a letter I received stating my services would remain the same however the monthly payment would increase. I could not reach anyone by phone so I began a chat to no avail. All that warranted after about an hour of my time was an appointment for someone to call me back the next day. Today, I spoke with Porshia who was extremely rude and non-caring about my situation. She had an attitude and was very unprofessional. I asked to speak with the retention department in which Vanessa was the agent. She was a bit kinder but offered no resolve, it was if she had a written script that she didn't veer from. I just requested to speak with a manager who is suppose to call me back within an hour. TWC is a rip-off and needs viable competition. The have monopolized the industry to lure consumers in then prey upon them with higher prices. They should be held accountable and be not allowed to take advantage of people in this way. They are incompetent to say the least and have sub standard people working for them. I don't know what bridge they found these folks under but their adding fuel to the fire with their nonchalant attitudes & shameful customer service skills. Each time you call TWC expect to waste at least 1 to 2 hours of your time without resolve. I think it's their strategy.

Time Warner Cable - Complaint Never Addressed over access to accounts.

I have three accounts with Time Warner... I had an issue with one if the accounts today and called in... The first customer service representative hung up on me... I called back and asked the next representative to talk to a supervisor v513592 and put in a complaint against the first rep I spoke to who hung up on me. Called back again over 1 hour into my ordeal and talked to E206512... Went through entire issue and asked to speak to a supervisor... Was transferred to supervisor 1251018... This person should not be working in customer service. She refused to listen and out right lied to me. (Pull the call and listen) we went back and forth on the call between her and the level three representative because she said she can't transfer me until she tries to work it out. She didn't understand and was going back and fourth between me and level three. I asked to be transferred to a manager as I waned to escalate and she told me there are none... I then said I find that hard to believe and that can't be the case and we went back and forth and she said "her" manager was not in and was on vacation??? Hmm... I asked for the call to be escalated, not yo talk to her supervisor. She lied... There are other people there. Finally she transferred me to E124757 and he was awesome, understood completely and resolved the issue in one minute. Called back to place another corporate complaint about the supervisor and talked to e20746 and placed a complaint with ticket number 19548180. This lady was great and said a manager would call me back. At 10:42am (while I was on a plane) Kevin with the management team at Time Warner called me. He said to call back and speak with anyone from management at 3308182155. THERE WAS NO MENTION ON MY ISSUE BEING ADDRESSED OR RESOLVED. At or around 5pm when I got if the flight I called 3308182155 and it went right to voicemail even know was still open per the voice mail until 9pm. I left a message... I called the main Time Warner number and spoke to E185090 and went round and round again explaining everything and finally was transferred after about an hour to Katie E152518... She told me after going through the story again that my ticket was closed and marked resolved. I told her it was not resolved. I told her I never talked to any one and I still want to talk to someone. She told me no one was in, in that department. I told her I wanted to place another complaint as my complaint was never addressed. What do you have to do to get an issue addressed? I have three accounts. One on them I am supposed to be a Signature Service Customer... I spend over $500 a month and gave been a customer for more than 22 years... Will someone call me back about this entire ordeal?

Time Warner Cable - Horrible customer service!!!!

The worst company ever! When setting up our system. We had such a headache getting the package and channels we wanted. We were on thephone for at lest an hour and half After a month we decided to cancel our service. When calling to cancel we were transferred to 10 people they all asked our name address phone number and why we wanted to cancel our service. On the phone for about 1 hr 15 mins. Can anybody do their job???? When asked to speak to a manager they transferred us to another customer service rep not the manager! No wonder they were rated worst company! Don't go with time warner cable!

Time Warner Cable - Charging of monthly billing.

In May of this year after setting up a new package plan with Time Warner Cable are bill was an greater amount than what were told over the phone. In the past was never charge for recording on the DVR box. My husband and I pick up another DVR box to replace the old box that was giving us a problem for the past year. Now for a added charge of $12.99 we have to pay for recording of the DVR boxes. I complaint to a Manager they transferred me to Minn. Person name Jeff. Told me that's Time Warner's policy, and that we could returned the DVR box for a regular box. And that's what we had to do. We're on a fixed income and what Time Warner charges for services is unbelievable.

I was promised 2 year contract at set price. Well long story short I was scammed. I wrote to BBB who does nothing. So I wrote to NC Attorney General finally got through to Timewarner which they honored the 2nd year. But I continually had billing and service issues. My calls to escalation department and sales manager would be ignored. Only when's I would file another complaint with the Attorney General would I get a return call. My signal constantly went out so shows would not get recorded. I declined a 5th visit to my home and just asked for a fair permanent credit only to be ignored again then receive a letter from Timewarner they are canceling my account due to my unreasonable demands! Lol are you kidding and the Attorney Generals office does nothing. We pay for service we don't receive and I ask for a credit and the cancel my account? This is why consumers are screwed by these companies you can't even get help from the AG's office! What about us????
