Time Warner Cable - Horrible customer service - No resolution

After several weeks of intermittent service, numbers of phone calls, hours wasted on the phone, and terrible customer service, we have finally cancelled Time Warner cable and all their services. I talked to several neighbors who also cancelled their Time Warner service and they gave us advice on what services are good. After speaking with many neighbors, co-workers, and friends, I found out that they all feel the same about Time Warner cable and have also cancelled. My wife and I will be discussing these issues at our next housing association meeting. We will be spreading the word regarding Time Warner's horrendous customer service and encourage everyone to drop them. Maybe then, after they lose thousands of customers, they will rethink how they conduct business.

Time Warner Cable - Not showing channels on Cable

It has been long enough that Time Warner is not showing channels on their cable...we have been members for years now, and I am ready to check out other Cable services....I don't enjoy paying for something that we don't get anymore which was included in the monthly price....We have the phone, computer and TV's...and I have heard that the other cable companies welcome us with a much lower rate than Time Warner. HOW DARE YOU TIME WARNER CABLE !!! As a Time Warner Cable customer, I should not be subjected to fallout in your battle with CBS over proposed pricing. The contentious negotiations and bitter fights between the two of you should be transparent to me as a consumer. It is unacceptable that I have been without CBS programming since Friday afternoon. And frankly, I believe TWC is being a little disingenuous in implying that this pre-emptive strike against -- and successive concession by -- CBS will prevent a price increase to customers. As you continually raise prices anyway, it would be less-than-intelligent of me to believe that TWC would have held its prices regardless of the outcome. As you can see, my anger is not with CBS, it is directed at Time Warner Cable. I don’t get bills from CBS; I get them from you. I pay my hard-earned money TO YOU -- EVERY MONTH. And, you have the audacity interrupt my service !!! I am a disabled senior citizen and I will not tolerate being used as a pawn between you and CBS. I am much too old to play with children -- or companies that act like children You should seriously take into account that Time Warner is not the only cable game in town. I WILL NOT keep my account with you WITHOUT CBS. Know that I am serious. As I told your seemingly disinterested, flat-affect, non-responsive phone representative: I will have no choice but to cancel my Time Warner service if CBS programming is not returned to my cable line-up by 11:59 p.m. this evening.

I Hate calling in on the phone to speak to representative. I don't mind the machine. I don't have any problems with her. But when it comes time for me to wait to speak to someone I got really impatient with the wait. I thought I was waiting up to 15 mins but when I looked at my phone. I have been wait a straight 25 mins!!!! It takes a lot to make me irrated or mad. But right now. I'm both!!! I don't have a lot of time or mind to sit and wait. I have a life and things to do.

Time Warner Cable - Overly Aggressive "Upgrade" Phone Calls

I live in Kentucky, and Insight Communications was bought by Time Warner a couple years back. The switchover has now taken place, and I'm being harassed by this company. As a 6 year Insight customer, I was happy with my provider - until it became Time Warner. I have been receiving 3-4 calls per day for 2 weeks now. Today, I answered because I was simply tired of them calling. The smug representative wouldn't listen to a word I said (I'm fine with what I have), so I let him do his 6-7 minute routine. He sounded like a cocaine-addled, desperate salesperson, and ignored me. I told him I didn't want to waste his time, and I'll pass. He then hung up on me. This is hideous practice, especially on existing customers. Are they actually trying to run their new market off? I had a feeling that it was going to suck when Time Warner took over, and my intuition was correct. Google Fiber, please come to Kentucky ASAP!

This company has cost me money, time and energy plus denying me the services they charge me for. after a week of computer face time trying to do what they tell me to do to transfer from Insight to Time Warner...the system seeme4 to work but my email system failed and would not work. KEY: between all the instructions to use their website which would not allow me go anywhere because said my username was wrong, my password was wrong and finally the insult of insults ...my email address (which I had just filled out and had approved by Time warner ...said it was ivalid.thus, not allowing me to go anywhere on their web site. couldn't use the sytem or get any response from time warner..I made the mistake of trying to call them. TOTAL NIGHTMARE...4 transfers to other depts. and 25 minutes later on a cell phone for which I was being charged time for minutes...they cut me off - cold. so, after losing hundreds of dollars of moneyh...no service...THEY WOULDN'T EVEN HELP ME PAY MY BILL...HUNG UP ON ME. I DON'T HAVE THE WORDS TO EXPRESS MY DISGUST FOR THESE POPLE...GOING TO GET SATALLITE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
