I agree with the reviewer In a previous post who lives on Woodruff Rd. In the Anderson Township area of Cincinnati. I live on a nearby road-Eight Mile Rd. And experience a lot of the same issues you are. Their everyday 14.99 internet service is very slow, even slower than Cincinnati Bell's Zoomtown (if you can imagine that!). I can't even get 2 Mb's download! My cable is going out or freezing up pretty frequently and the HD channels are not clear at all. My digital channels pixelate a lot. I have a friend who has Direct Tv and their picture is crystal clear. So I call to tell customer service in India or wherever they are located at (this last time It was Dominican Republic)! And they tried to troubleshoot the problem and couldn't fix it. They call me back and say they found the problem and would reset my cable box. Well they did and the problems are still happening! Im tired of their poor service and will be switching to satellite or just a regular antenna.

Time Warner Cable - Incompetence at its finest

I have had TWC service for many years and recently upgraded to the Triple Play package for $89.99/month. I opened my latest bill to discover I'm being overcharged to the tune of $211 per month because they didn't package the services. A talk with 3 separate customer care representatives resulted in the services being bundled under this month's price of $99.99. I demanded my account be credited for Time Warner's mistake! Customer Care was only able to credit an amount pro-rated off of the $99.99 monthly charge, not the overcharged amount. I was furious - not with the representative or her supervisor - I was and am angry with TWC for demonstrating such ***-poor customer relations. Heck, one person told me my service had been disconnected since 2011! Unbelievable. If there was ever an example of why monopolies are bad news in a capitalist market, Time Warner is a perfect specimen. I do not want these people controlling the internet, of all things. The order in which the TV channels are listed doesn't even make sense. How can they make the internet any better? They can't.

Time Warner Cable - Tv Service Review from Canton, Ohio

I was looking for new options for Internet, TV, and phone. I called Warner Cable and spoke with a rep. I was signed up for a promotion involving the bundling of all my services to Time Warner and in return I would be eligible for a tablet. After a total installation fiasco, countless reps & calls later... My service was switched. I was then told several weeks later I was not eligible for the tablet promotion... With NO reason as to why. When I asked why, I was told the rep could not find any reason why I was not eligible, but--I just wasn't. That is a scam! This cable company over charges and we cant fire them because what else do u do to watch ur tv??? its entrapment! We ordered the mayweather fight on sept. 13 2014 and it never came on...we tried calling and calling three of us using our phones tried and never got thru...then come 839 pm when its pointless we get a rep on the line named carlos...he assured us he would give us credit and comped us an extra 30 dollars for the inconvenience....well along comes the bill,,,,, and wham!!!! the bill!we got billed! and on top of that i called and spoke to a rep. they said nope u never called theres no record of this and then they were rude like i owed them ...i asked for a supervisor and it was worse and im now obligated to pay for a fight we never saw....!!!!!!

Time Warner Cable - TV Channel not working!

I wanted to watch a show on a channel and it freezes up or screen is black. My cable bill is way too expensive for this to always be happening!I should be discounted. Time warner Cable always hounds you when you pay your bill late, but the service is horrible very often. There is always a problem with the HD channels especially. What's the point of charging the consumer so much if your serice and quality is horrible. I think I'm going to switch over to DISH! All I can say is it can't be any worse and it's cheaper!!!

or not say anything. takes forever for channel to appear on screen! ridiculous.All i did was change channels and this happens all the time now.

DISH suck as as well.I dumped them after several years.

Started getting problems. and their customer service is absolutely THE WORST.

I battled with them when I cancelled my service. what a bunch of @#@%^$$^&*

Time Warner Cable - Failure to respond after request for service; constant begging to continue service with them

Our home was struck by lightning over three weeks ago. TWC had our computer and TV service. I had to make two service calls to get repairmen to home. Worse case occurred today on phone conversation when I informed them that due to their lack service, we were disconnecting. It took over 30 minutes being switched between reps and their constant urging us to stay with TWC asking what I was getting under the new service. I had to repeat that I had already bundled with another provider, had to repeat three times why we were discontinuing and the rep kept on and on about what they could provide with us. I had to say I did not want to hang up on him but informing him that we had already connected with another provider and please tell me what I needed to do formally to close the account.

I got a phone call from (800) 982-2253 on 08/14/2014, saying that I have a past due of over $200. Now I am worry about the bill which I never used/watched for the TV service. I was ordered the time warner cable for the basic Chanel + sport and it was installed on 06/18/2014. And I pay Cash $67.13 to the technician/installer. As I need only for one month to watch the world cup soccer, I returned all the equipment to cancel the TV services to 1565 Chenault St, Dallas, TX 75228 on 07/16/2014. Time Warner Cable - TWC had an outage that stopped DVR and they want cash to come and fix it.

What terrible service. They changed our billing address with no notification, which took hours to correct. They told my 82 year old mother to bring back her box or get charged a service charge if they came to fix her problem. The support rep was so rude she was in tears and come to find out "they" turned off the wrong cable address. That whole process left her with no phone, computer, or TV/DVR for one week. Then yesterday we had some wide outage in our area, one TV never lost picture but lost DVR and the other nothing but error codes. After chatting and phone support, they explained an outage was the problem. Now they want me to bring back the box or pay for a service call when it was their "outage" that caused the problem in the first place. I wish we were all paid for the time we have spent on correcting TWC's mistakes. And by the way-a service call can't be scheduled for 5 days.

Time Warner Cable - Digital Cable & Internet

Wow. We have Time Warner cable & Internet. Supposedly they are the best! what a joke. We have internet connectivity issues 7 days a week with fluctuating signal strenghth. We have had poor TV reception signal. We have done everything Time Warner says, including having a Tech come out more than 10 times a year for the last 5 years. We have replaced every connection and all coaxial throughout our entire home. Done upgrades to our service to better our signal, but all it does is raise in price dramatically and in service poorly. After years of problems, they have come down to the problem being in the main line. What did they do you ask??? They sent 2 trucks with Technicians for 4 hour to switch and test a new connection point on the main line for me & my neighbors. Guess what? IT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM! We still get fluctuating signal issues and loss of internet intermittantly. Time Warner Cable is the biggest *** going. They boost your signal when they send a tech and then within a day or two, you are back to plain Jane *** signal. It doesn't matter what you pay for, you wont get it.

Time Warner Cable - Outlandish pricing and lying CS

I have read a lot of the posts, and sadly mine is no better. However, I was able "bully pulpit" my way into the deal they promised. How? Everyone reading this get a digital recorder and record the call. You are 100% in your right to do so, remember as you dial into their world-wide CS you hear, your call may be recorded for quality purposes. If TWC (and 99% of others) actually did listen to how they treated customers, they should be appalled or expect people to walk. Fact two, we have become too dependent on TV and other ***, I am just as guilty and am pulling away. I MUST have Internet connectivity since I am IT and 100% of my customers are to, family, jobs are dependent on it. Sometimes I think, what would be so horrible if we were "unplugged" oh gee, I have to write a check, or maybe enjoy what my optics can take in. No, I am not digressing here people, however the only way to get away from this *** is to get away, $$$$ is the ONLY thing they know. Nobody reading this wants to be controlled by race, creed, religion ect, but gladly do so with the connection of a coax or a sat signal or smart phone Well, when my package ends, I will go OTA and step back to what MUST be done. This is the only way to stop treatment like this, cable, sat radio, sat TV, et al, oddly enough in a few months, here will come the "beg" come back letters.. NOPE! People, re-evaluate what is important and what really controls you. Fortunately, I never went to a smart phone, have seen too many DUMB people using them. Customer service said they would send someone to hook up my tv properly. No one came. Tech person kept me on the phone talking me out of a house call. I tried to do what he said, that is take one of the cables ftom the splitter, but i couldn't get the coaxial cable to stay in place. I am 71 years old with my spine out of alignment and after a few minutes of standing i am in terrible pain. The tv is on top of the dvd and vhs player which are on top of the dresser. I have to reach over the dresser and around the back of the tv and i am only 4 feet 10 inches. So i am getting zero channels from those vultures. Zero.

Time Warner Cable - My9 is horrible

We are die hard NY Yankee fans. For some reason many of their games are not shown on their own TV channel (YES). They are shown on my9. We pay a small fortune for TWC HD service. My9 is not even HD. The picture is small and blurry. There are no commercials during breaks, which is fine, but it creates some awkward moments with the announcers. It seems they don't know their microphones are still on. It all just seems so cheap and primitive. We believe that at the price we pay, all channels should be HD. And now YES is going to show soccer games which will mean even less Yankee games shown on their own channel. So more games on my9. And I,m sure the price will continue to go up. Maybe basic cable will be back in our home soon.

Terrible tech support at Time Warner Cable

Since yesterday morning my Time Warner Cable DVR has stopped working and since then I have spent most of yesterday and this morning on the phone with their customer service. To make the story short every member of their team insisted on going through the same trouble shooting procedure to no avail in-spite of my pleas that the tech I was talking to before tried and was unsuccessful. Their responses were rude and condescending and every one of them refused to send a technician to replace my cable box. The whole experience was atrocious and aggravating. Needless to say I have spent yesterday and will spend today without watching TV even though I'm paying my monthly charges exactly on time. It has and is still continuing to be a terrible inconvenient experience. I have been a customer of TWC for over 30 years.

Time Warner Cable - Service never works

I have to reboot my cable box in my bedroom every day. My wife and I have 3 boxes in the house, 2 bedrooms and 1 in the living room. Technician came today and said" there is nothing wrong with the box. We have had a technician at the house once a week for the past 5 weeks. Why pay for something that never works ? I know its only cable tv, but its expensive and we're starting to feel like we're being robbed. I understand every company has issues but its becoming apparent that time warner IS the issue !!!! Get it together !!!!!!

Our service with TW the worst. Have to reboot our boxes every few days.

Movies on demand freeze and we have to rebuy the movies. When we called tech services the guy actually said Now is not the best time of day to try Movies on Demand! It was 3 in the afternoon.

We tried three more times, never did see About Time all the way through. San Diego
